Sunday

12:00 p.m: The dip is done. I enjoyed it while it lasted. Don't worry, it will make an appearance again! Had a bit for breakfast.
Exercise (3:15 p.m): 1 hr 10 on treadmill.
4:45 p.m: Mmmm. Spaghetti squash as the pasta, tomato sauce, mushroom, broccoli, parm cheese
8:15 p.m: Fried cauliflower in olive oil. Used a mix of olive oil, garlic, lemon, salt as the dressing.
Might have had some of the choc rice crispy balls. Had to taste it after all.

Valentine's Day at work

So, apparently my new work is really into Valentine's Day. Like, REALLY into it.
I, however, am not. Never cared about it and it's usually just another day. This year is different I suppose.
So the game plan is that everyone at work picked a random name of another co-worker. You're supposed to do something for them, anything. People in years past have gone way out. It's not always been as simple as "I'll get them some chocolates"... people have gone so far as creating web-sites. Gah.
I've picked my person. I suppose I can say it on here because well, only one co-worker reads this and she already knows who I have. It's this girl. I barely know her. I barely know anyone - I've been working there a month. So yea, you do this and on V-Day there's some game where you guess who has who. I'm sure everyone will guess I had her. If you win though, you get some sweet prize.

My plan.

Seven days of homemade treats.

Starting tomorrow I am going to secretly leave her treats with little poems and stuff. Kinda fun I think? Not creepy? I don't know. It's the best I can come up with! The down side is that every day I have to make something.

That's where my favourite blog Chocolate Covered Katie comes in. Everything* is going to be vegan! :0) But she'll never know! Stay tuned for Day # 1 photo. I just popped it into the fridge to cool.
*k, not everything will be vegan. There may be a day I fail and bake a box cake. We'll see.

Saturday

2:00 p.m: Plain oatmeal with water, cinnamon and a banana

6:00 p.m: Homemade pizza. Whole wheat store bought dough, tomato sauce, mushroom, broccoli, corn, parmesan cheese
I also bought Melba toast today. It tastes delicious with the chocolate chip cookie dough dip I made the other day. Win!! I had a few.

8:00 p.m: Friends were over. I had more of the dip above. I don't know if I should be feeling guilty for eating it? It's like 75% chickpeas!

Thursday

6:00 a.m: A few almonds

Exercise (7 a.m): 45 min boot camp. Killer, as usual.

9:30 a.m: Smoothie. Really good considering the random ingredients in it. Here is what I can remember. Banana, apple, cinnamon, coffee beans, almonds, parsley, brown rice protein, um, others.

12:30 p.m: Good ol' Ravi Soups. Tasted extra delicious today. Butternut squash soup with veggie wrap. There is the mishkebob's lunch in the background. As I was telling her at lunch, I am so glad she's not a skinny bitch (not saying she's fat! haha) who can eat whatever she wants. I'd be so annoyed if she had Mcdonalds every day and here I am eating freakin vegetables. Anyways, damn you, you always have delicious food. But, I'm glad I also work with someone who cares about what they eat and their health. After all, it was her initiative to do a boot camp probably exactly a year ago this month that got me in this health kick to start!
5:00 p.m: Granola bar

8:00 p.m: 1 hard boiled egg, fried broccoli and bok choy in coconut oil. Some parmesan cheese over veggies.
9:00 p.m: Another try from Chocolate Covered Katie's blog. Love her. I tried the "Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip". You'll never ever guess the ingredients! Tasted pretty good. Came out creamier than I would've liked but now I know just to put less rice milk or agave syrup next time. Whoa, hippie talk there. The only bad ingredient in here is the chocolate chips. But hey, everyone needs a little chocolate in their life. :)

Wednesday

Stressvile lately.
I'm not someone who stresses really... at least I don't think so. But, it creeps up on me and F's everything up physically. No, I'm not using stress as an excuse for being fat. It's totally unrelated physical things. Blah.

8:00: Handful of almonds

1:00 p.m: Vegan wrap. Not good. I ate 3/4 of it. All veggies in some tortilla is boring as hell.
4:00 p.m: Apple with cinnamon and honey

5:00 p.m: I had a few sun chips

7:00 p.m: Nothing in the fridge except ingredients to make the following. Whole grain macaroni with red peppers, garlic, tomato sauce and some cheese. I didn't eat the asparagus, tasted funny.
Exercise (9:00 p.m): I have this app called Nike Fit. I love it and I'm going to use it more when I don't feel like being seen at the gym. Easy enough in the living room and there are hundreds of workouts catered for your needs. GET IT. I did a 30 min workout. Sweating. Good stuff! Here is a fun little screen shot I took at one point right before my plank began.
5 mins left!
