I gained 5 pounds. Do you how hard it is for me to lose 5 pounds? It took 3 months of boxing. All gone in like 3 weeks. Hating myself for failing. Ugh.
Looking forward to January. Hardcore 4 day a week boot camp is on.

I guess I should post a progress shot after all. Yea so I don't want to show my face... so what. These photos were taken I think maybe a year and a half apart. Woohoo! Hopefully the next one will be of a six pack! ;)

Merry Christmas

So, with the year coming to an end, am I supposed to reflect or something? I've been writing in here for almost two years... wow. I've taken a few days off and it honestly feels weird. It's also been bad. I noticed how much I do need this blog... for myself. Yes I indulged in a few awesome things (chocolate croissnts, yum!) but I also did exercise. But, not recording it almost seems... I don't know the word. All I know is I need this. It gives me structure or something.

Anyways, I went to a Christmas party and I won't lie, it was nice getting the comments about losing weight. Especially from my family as they are the most judgemntal. But still, I'm not happy with where I am. I'm really frustrated with how long it's taken me... but I have no one to blame but myself. I'm the one eating the sweets after all. So as 2013 approaches, I need to finally get my butt into gear. There's a boot camp I had done for two months last year that was amazing. It's now become a 4 day a week boot camp. I may brave it and say F you January and do it. 1 month... 4 days a week. I can do it. The only thing that will screw this up is work. It's busy. Fingers crossed!

So yes, January... bring it. MK, I'm looking at you too!!!

What an embarrassing day this is about to be. Here we go.

9:00 a.m: An egg sandwich wrap.

For the rest of the day I ate like 2 brownies, a mini cupcake and some chips. Is that it? Probably.

9:00 p.m: Had to pick up food on the way home from work. Was supposed to go grocery shopping but ya, too late. I'm sooo tired. Anyways, got potatoes and a Greek salad. Good.

12:30p.m: Frittata and salad. Bread.

Had doritos.

3:00 p.m: Protein powder and water
6:30 p.m:  2 scrambled eggs, sweet potato, mushroom, brussells sprouts.

10:00 p.m: Shake. Protein powder, coconut milk, cocoa powder, others.

7:00 a.m: Granola cereal with coconut milk

12:30 p.m: Apple

4:00 p.m: Carrots

This is what happens to me when Im busy. I don't eat. I feel bad walking out for like 15 mins just to get food. I come back and there's like 15 emails. LIFE.

5:00 p.m: 2 rice cakes

7:30 p.m: Chips

I'm at work.

8:00 p.m: A great salad from Fresh. I don't care to go find the ingredients but relax, it was as healthy as can be.

Too lazy to post the last few days. Who cares really!

Exercise... who knows what time it was... all I know is I was in there for like almost 2 hrs.

I woke up late. Didn't eat. No food in the fridge except for late lunch when I had... this...

Food. Salad. Arugula, 1/2 avocado, sweet potato, green onion, mushroom, olive oil, lemon, S&P Boring.

FoodCoconut milk, protein powder, cinnamon, coconut flakes, cocoa powder, ice. Yum.

Everyone is hung over from the party last night and I'm sitting here freaking out about the amount of work left to do. Today already sucks.

10:00 a.m: Egg and cheese English muffin.

12:30 p.m: Sushi. Let's see, a total of 12 rolls? Sweet potato and shrimp. yup.. SHRIMP! Cheater vegetarian alert!

I had chocolate, again.

Inner obese person thoughts.


I feel like I'm dressed like an older mom today. Weird, I know.

7:45 a.m: 2 hard boiled eggs

12:30 p.m: Frittata and salad, piece of bread.

Work Christmas party. We also got ipad mini's as a gift. I don't care too much about 'things' but hey, i'll make the best of it.

6:00 p.m onwards: First we were at a friends getting ready. She had some veggies but let's face it, I ate the cheese and chocolate. After, we went to the restaurant. I had a caesar salad, a delicious ravioli and even more delicious chocolate cake. Karaoke after where I nibbled on some fries. I didn't care one bit at dinner about calories and it felt glorious.

7:00 a.m: Banana

I snacked on baby carrots all morning

12:00 p.m: Soup I made the night before. Tasteless but I ate it. Butternut squash, celery, onion, carrots and vegetable stock. I avoided those timbits... yessssss.
5:00 p.m: Apple

I stayed late at work. Ugh. Had a small bowl of chips and a few Hersheys kisses.

9:00 p.m: Protein shake. Coconut milk, protein powder, coconut flakes, cocoa powder, cinnamon, ice.

9:30 a.m: A breakfast burrito. It was a wrap with eggs and veggies. Some salsa with it.

Oh I had chocolate again all right.

1:00 p.m: A sandwich with grilled veggies and I think feta cheese. Lots of bread though.

Chocolate.... chocolate... chocolate. I want it nowwwwww.
A lot of this has been happening.
7:00 p.m: A banana. 2 scrambled eggs with salsa. I also made some soup I had a bit of. Mostly for lunch tomorrow. Veggie broth, celery, butternut squash, carrots, onion. Meh.

My food intake today has been embarrassing. It's not me.

I had almonds at 9 a.m. Was feeling sick. Then I has too much chocolate. A protein bar was had at like 5 then ummm more chocolate.

I was out at a pub. I nibbled on a couple nachos, I had 2 veggie spring rolls and then sweet potato fries.

Later in the night I was at a friends and I had carrots and hummus and 2 cheese puff pastry things.

Exercise (2:30 p.m): 2 hours at the gym. Killed it.

4:30 p.m: Protein powder and water

6:45 p.m: Egg whites scrambled, boiled Brussels sprouts, salsa.
10:30 p.m: Out at Moxies with friends. Shared nachos and had their delicious white chocolate brownie thing. Nachos at Moxies are kinda amazing. Everyone agreed.

Exercise (7:30 a.m): 45 mins at the gym. Cardio and weights.

9:00 a.m: Protein bar

I've also had chocolate at work. Someone finish these already.

12:30 p.m: Vegan salad.

Rest of the night was a write off. I indulged.

Not going to lie, I feel down today because of last night's fight. I wish I could've fought. But, this is a good thing. This now leaves me all year to get awesome and it's more motivation to do it again next year. Let the hunt for a boxing trainer begin!

7:30 a.m: 1 rice cake with almond butter

12:30 p.m: Veggie curry stir fry on brown rice.

Lots of chocolate was had. Damn Christmas baskets!

6:00 p.m: A salad. Greens, roasted veggies, goat cheese, couscous, balsamic dressing. A couple sweet potato fries.

10:00 a.m: A legit breakfast was had. A bagel with cream cheese, tomato and avocado. Tastes like carbs!

12:30 p.m: A frittata with salad. Good.

... and then I didn't eat for the rest of the day. FAIL. It got so busy I couldn't.

It was fight night. We failed miserably. UGH.

9:00 p.m: Small bowl of chips. Still at work. Sitting around, waiting for someone to tell me to go home. This part of work sucks.

Time to quit?

Why do I even continue with this blog? Like I honestly still take photos of my meals. Why? I know what they look like, no one else really cares, I should just stop. It's seriously become habit. I don't even think about it anymore. I should try and stop for like a week and see how it feels? No. I can't. This blog, as boring as it is, keeps me accountable for my actions. I write my cheats and write my exercise. If I feel like there isn't enough exercise showing up, I do more. Even though there's probably like a few people who read this, those few people keep me staying on track. You may think you don't matter, but you do!


7:30 a.m: 1 rice cake with almond butter

9:30 a.m: Slice of banana cake. Not worth it.

1:00 p.m: Veggie wrap with butternut squash soup.

5:00 p.m: Apple

Exercise (6:30 p.m): 1 hr boxing. Last training today. :( Sad!! I wore my shitty pants today. Now I'm gonna feel fat and uncomfortable the whole time. Girl problems.

9:00 p.m: Salad. Arugula, sweet potato, broccoli, goat cheese, olive oil, lemon juice, S&P. Good.

11:30 a.m: Banana

Exercise (12:00 p.m):35 min on treadmill.

1:00 p.m: Parents house. Lentil purée with pita bread and salad. Goooood.

Exercise (3:30 p.m:)Boxing. Last weekend training. Sad.

6:00 p.m: Exact same thing I had for lunch.

9:00 p.m: A delicious smoothie I made. Coconut milk, banana, cocoa powder, coconut flakes, vanilla protein powder, honey.

I had my acid reflux again at like 6 a.m. Hate it. It had been a while since the last one. What do I blame? The overboard I went with cheese. Felt horrible for like 2 hrs.

11:30 a.m:1 rice cake with almond butter

1:00 p.m: Egg whites scrambled with goat cheese and butter, broccoli fried in coconut oil, salsa.

4:30 p.m: A soup my mom made. Mostly fibre. Lots of grains. Also made a quesadilla with pita bread, avocado, tomato and cheese.

Went to my boxing coach's fight. It was amazing. She kicked ass. Now I wanna fight damnit!!

I'm also in a hunger rage right now. It's 12 a.m.
