Have a session with the trainer tonight. Excited for it. Haven't worked out in a few days.

I had a few Hershey's kisses in the morning sometime. I also had some plantain chips.

2:00 p.m: I missed lunch today and it worked out to my benefit. There was leftover from a client meeting. Woohoo! It was alright though. Veggie wrap and Greek salad.
3:00 p.m: Delicious slice of banana bread

Exercise (7:00 p.m): Ran 5k. Usual 38 mins like clockwork. How!?! Not 37, not 39... 38.

8:30 p.m: 2 hard boiled eggs, kale chips, tempeh. Didn't finish the tempeh. Over it.

Hmm, no breakfast today. I survived I suppose.

12:15 p.m: This damn vegan place around the corner is pretty good but they always have rice. I should just not eat the rice. Today was an eggplant and tofu stir fry in black bean sauce.
4:00 p.m: Handful of chips.

8:00 p.m: Friend's birthday dinner at a Mexican place. It was so good. I had guacamole and nachos to start. Then, veggie enchiladas and deep fried ice cream for desert. Um, deep fried ice cream... AMAZING. It was very cinnamony. Love. Go to Mariachis

Why do people like summer? Ugh.
I'm so hot and bothered right now I want to go home.
Last night I was in a crap mood. All night. Again this morning. WTF.

7:45 a.m: One hard boiled egg

2 Hersheys kisses.

12:30 p.m: Veggie Thai curry with brown rice. Lentil soup. Really full.

I got home and put on the A.C. Then it was comfortable city. I fell asleep on the couch and it was so damn nice. Anyway, I woke up at like 8 and said F this, no gym, dinner time. Kept it healthy though!

8:30 p.m: Scrambled eggs and brusel sprouts
I spent the rest of my night with my ipod blaring Cranberries and Bryan Adams into my ears. Ah, good headphones. Can't go wrong. Random music? Yes.

Isn't this a great song? It never gets old.

9:00 p.m: Late dinner. Felt shitty so I napped.

Girl talk.

This has been an interesting week. I bought a LOT of shoes. I don't know what happened. Anyway, I brought them all home and tried them all on to determine comfortability (they're all wedges) and two failed and are getting returned. Actually, they were pretty comfortable but I did the smart thing and am returning on the fact that they aren't going to be as used as they should be. They're more different and frankly it'll be one of those shoes I'll only wear a few times. I can't afford that.
I bought two at Zara. This was one. Very cute and comfy too but I tried it on with like a million outfits and it will only match a few. Sooo... returned! But thought I'd document them anyway, I mean they ARE awesome.
In other news, on Friday at lunch I got my first tattoo. Omagad. It just... happened. Well, not completely. I've been wanting something for ages. I love tattoo's but have been to chicken and really just needed to know what it felt like before committing to something huge. So, I kept it simple. I like it. Even if I didn't, too late! :) It's the rest of my life right? Hah. I don't care. When I'm 50 I'll look back and say "That was me at 27 and I'm proud." It has no story, no meaning.. it's just, art. A little token that will always remind me of who am I today. I like it.

12:00 p.m: Breakfast. 2 eggs omelet with butter, put spinach and goat cheese in it. Tempeh as my bacon.
Exercise (4:00 p.m): Ran 5k. 38 mins, as usual. WTF! It's odd. Never even a minute off.

5:15 p.m: Protein drink.

6:00 p.m: Dinner. I'm not a rabbit, I swear. This couldn't be any greener. Meh. Kale chips with brussel sprouts and broccoli.
Exercise (8:30 p.m): Played squash with friends. That shit is some good cardio!


Exercise (2:00 p.m): Spent 45 mins at the gym 

3:30 p.m: Homemade tabouli and boiled brussel sprouts.
7:00 p.m: Sushi with the friends.
9:00 p.m: Had a slice of cheesecake, some popcorn and a bowl of ice cream. Temptations at friend's houses. *sigh*

It was a real nice night. Went to a friends condo but she has a great big balcony so we sat out there and played games. At one point the guitar was busted out and I think I enjoyed that part most. Good music was played. I think I liked the whole thing because it was outside with the quick escape of being inside if it got too hot. It was a perfect night though. Not too hot, not too cold. Gonna suck when it gets hot.

It's going to be F-ing hot today. I'm scared and uncomfortable already.
I am wearing a dress *gasp* so hopefully it helps a bit. Although I feel uncomfortable in it. One of those "I look like a clown" days today. Someone assures me I don't, I don't believe you! hah.

1:00 p.m: Two slices of pizza. Yup.

I got a small tattoo at lunch. It happened. Omg. Rest of my life. Spur of the moment-ish.

Hmm dinner at 7 at Spring Rolls. Asparagus and tofu stir fry thing. Coconut milkshake.

12:15 p.m: Indian buffet. Yeesh. I pretty much always just go for the butter chicken, but take out all the chicken. Yea yea I'm  shitty vegetarian. Who cares. Anyway, today there was barely any sauce and it was all chicken. So it was annoying. Ah well. I feel nice and fat. Better run tonight.

Exercise (7:45 p.m): Ran 5km. 38 minutes. The usual.

8:30 p.m: Salad with goat cheese, spinach, tomato, olive oil, lemon juice, salt. Broccoli and mushrooms fried in vegan butter.
9:30 p.m: Protein shake. Just water and powder.

Once again I put my alarm on to work out this morning and failed. I should just abandon that ship and stop trying. Stick to after work.

Day after a day off - feels refreshing but also super lazy.

10:00 a.m: Protein shake. Just powder and water. 30 grams!

1:00 p.m: Leftover Chinese food from Sunday. I feel yucky. It was a lot of noodles and veggies. Could've really eaten half the noodles and been satisfied.

7:30 p.m: Finally got groceries. Salad with spinach, tomato, goat cheese, olive oil, lemon juice, salt. Mushrooms fried in vegan butter. Boiled brussel sprouts with some parm cheese.
8:15 p.m: Small cup of fat free cottage cheese

10:00 p.m: Bit of stove top popcorn. Made with olive oil.

No gym. :(


So I was out most of the day therefore I don't care to think back and do the play by play.
All I now is I feel like I've eaten shitty and I'm mad at myself for it.

Anyway, if I remember correctly here is the order of food...

Breakfast at the parent's house. Too many carbs.
A few small chocolate's left over from Easter.
Another avocado sandwich like on Sunday.
Veggie stir fry with vermicelli noodles

I had crap the rest of the night. Was out. Chips and pizza mostly. But, I was kinda good and had carrots and hummus too. So, not a complete fail. Once again I am thankful I don't drink. I would've gorged.

Exercise (6:00 p.m): 1 hr with trainer. It was good. I was doing walking lunges across the gym and I felt stable. It was a good feeling considering last year this time I was so wobbly and could barely go across the room. Good stuff.

7:30 p.m: Banana

8:00 p.m: Boiled veggies with parmesan cheese. I need protein :(
9:00 p.m: Stove top popcorn. Obsessed.

6:30 p.m: 2 hard boiled eggs, zucchini fried in olive oil, boiled brussel sprouts with parm cheese. salt was sprinkled over all.
9:00 p.m: Big ol bowl of stove top popcorn. Chocolate chips were had as well.

I was supposed to go on a mini field trip today but it said it was gonna rain. It's not. Ugh.

10:00 a.m: Handful of almonds

Exercise (11 a.m): I ran. I'm back. I was off for a bit there and I feel like ass that I only now have worked out twice this week. Boooo. Anyway, I did ok I guess. Consistent around the 38 minute area for 5k.
12:00 p.m: 3 scrambled eggs and baby Brussel sprouts

I am updating this the day after so I can't remember everything.

7:00 p.m: Was at the kebob's house... with the only other person who probably reads this blog. The only other two people I know who keep a food diary. We all had pizza, ok?

Exercise (10:00 p.m): I randomly ended up at laser tag. I am totally counting it as exercise cause 30 mins later, I was dripping in sweat.
11:00 p.m: Strawberry, banana smoothie from Tim Horton's. Meh.

1:00 p.m: Veggie burger and fries. A piece of expensive chocolate. This is the good shit.
4:00 p.m: Loads of snacks at work. I tried to go mostly for the veggies and hummus but no lies, I did have chips and some bread. Meh. I felt like shit after.

Got home and was like, yea, gym!

Exercise (7:30 p.m): 15 mins of treadmill, haha. I ran though! As I was on the phone a friend called and said he's be over in 15 minutes cause a bunch of people were gonna go for dinner. I failed and agreed.

9:00 p.m: Met some friends in good ol hood I grew up in for Pho. Had some tofu soup. Pretty good actually and so damn cheap. Like $6 for the whole meal and I was satisfied cheap.

Exercise (6:00 p.m): Hour and a half at gym. Hardcore. Died.

8:30 p.m: Berries, rice milk, protein powder... blend!

9:30 p.m: I've been to the bulk store so yea, popcorn. Stove top with olive oil.

I put my alarm on to work out again. Failed. Instead, after I showered I took forever and curled my hair. It's a little Farrah Fawcett a la 70's but I'll live.
10:15 a.m: Granola bar

12:30 p.m: Soup and wrap from Ravi. Mmmm.

4:40 p.m: Few dark chocolate squares

6:30 p.m: More green overboard. Kale, brussel sprouts and zucchini. I had  smoothie afterwards cause I felt like I needed protein. It was rice milk, berries and the powder.
10:00 p.m: Stove top popcorn

12:30 p.m: Sandwich. Not that healthy. Whole wheat panini, goat cheese, avocado, arugula, garlic mayo, mushroom, olive oil, lemon, salt.

6:30 p.m: Tabouli and veggies. Picture speaks for itself.
 8:00 p.m: I saw a movie - Cabin in the Woods. GOOD. I also had a chocolate yogurt. It was pretty much a McFlurry. Boo.

 Went to this comic book convention thing. Pretty cool actually. I've never been in a room with so many guys I was attracted to in my life. :) haha They were just as shy and scared of me and I was of them!

4:00 p.m: Coconut gelato. Some chips.

Exercise (7:45 p.m): 1 hr at gym. Mix of cardio and weights. May has been 100% work out month so far. Not a day off!

9:30 p.m: Late dinner. 2 scrambled eggs and mushroom, brussel sprouts in vegan butter.

Exercise (7:30 a.m): Last session I had with the trainer. I died. Like, I went to the bathroom and thought I was gonna faint. Did you notice I had no breakfast? Yea, that's why. Anyway, I hadn't sweated like that in ages. Need her back.

9:30 a.m: Banana. Egg and cheese English muffin.

12:30 p.m: Same as yesterday. Exact. Creature of habit.

At some point I did have some chips. Not a lot.

7:00 p.m: Very few nachos. Sweet potato fries. I was out.

9:00 p.m: At a friends. There was some chips and some Pocky.

It feels like this week flew by, tomorrow is Friday. When did this happen?

8:00 a.m: Few almonds. My usual first thing I have when I get up.

9:30 a.m: Egg and cheese English muffin.

I'd like to commend myself for not going into the stash of chocolate chips I have in my cupboard at home. I know it's there. It knows I'm there. Gahd! No sugar going ok. It's true... once you don't have it you don't even really crave it as much. If there is no rain I plan on running again tonight. I said April was gonna be my month of like hardcore but ya, that failed. May - happening. Fo sho.

1:15 p.m: Frittata and salad.
Major shopping damage was done during lunch today. I should not be trusted on Queen St. on a nice day. Whatever, shit was all on sale.

4:00 p.m: Another delicious smoothie from Vega. I love it. Vanilla Almond today. I need to get me a case of this stuff.
Exercise (6:45 p.m): Ran. Just beat the thunderstorm action headed my way!
8:00 p.m: All green. I need groceries, baddddd. Broccoli with parm cheese and vegan butter, kale chips.

Exercise (6:00 a.m): 30 mins on the treadmill. Woohoo, I actually got up on my own! The gym in my building was oddly super full for the crack of dawn.

7:00 a.m: Handful of almonds

11:00 a.m: Protein powder and water. Loving the stuff from Vega. I bought a sample pouch and umm, now need the whole case. Yum! It's nice that it's not just protein but fibre too. No artificial crap or sugars. I swear I don't work for Vega.

12:30 p.m: Lunch. Leftover tabouli from last night and a little bit of the leftover spaghetti squash thing from the day before. Full, but not in a good way.

Still craving sweets.

7:00 p.m: Almonds while it was cooking. This has got to be the most green meal of life. It's all I had in the fridge. Zucchini and broccoli fried in vegan butter. Kale chips.
8:15 p.m: Clearly a plate full of greens is not filling. I just blended some of my protein powder with rice milk and ice. This will do for the night.

Day three, sugar free. Headache central.

No Internet at work. What do I do?!?
Considering all I can do is use my phone, this is what I'm doing.

I fully had my bag packed for starting boot camp up again. I quit this morning. I just thought about getting ready at the gym and how much I hate it and it was over. Hoping to get a run in tonight.

9:30 a.m: Apple slices with some cinnamon. A co-worker had this fried egg and cheese English muffin and I had to have it. So I got one. $2! New fan.
1:00 p.m: Leftover dinner from last night.

Sugar withdrawals! Headache. Big time. I can do it. Til Friday!

Exercise (7:00 p.m): Ran another almost 5km again. Did better than last time!
 8:30 p.m: This took forever to make. Tabouli, hummus, zucchini pan fried with vegan butter. You can see all the hard work in the background. Loving my food processor!!
My body aches. Running hurts all over! I'm due for a good massage.
