This is what happens when you blog and you have observant friends. They send you this. I'm a creature of habit! What do you want from me!?! At least it was healthy stuff.


Exercise (5:45 a.m): 1 hr cardio and weights. I learned the key to dragging myself out of bed - never get in it. I purposely fell asleep on the couch with the lights and TV on. That way I was never quite comfortable and when my alarm went off at 5 a.m. I was fine with getting off the couch. Getting out of a cozy bed is much harder. Sooooo win!

7:30 a.m: banana, 1 hard boiled egg a bit after.

10:00 a.m: 2 rice cakes with hazelnut butter, 1/2 a chocolate chip muffin.

12:30 p.m: Grilled veggie sandwich, apple salad, arugula salad. Out.

5:00 p.m: 3 Hershey's almond kisses

8:30 p.m: A whole lot of veggies fried in coconut oil, garlic and soy sauce
 9:00 p.m: So, this is delicious. I had to stop from making more. Grapes covered in goat cheese covered in almonds. TRY IT. This would be an awesome appetizer to take to someones house. Noted!

8:00 a.m: Banana

10:00 a.m: Snacking on baby carrots throughout the morning

My arsenal of veggies and protein is stocked today.

12:30 p.m: The stuffing from the peppers I had the last two days over arugula. Pretty good!
3:30 p.m: Apple. Not gonna lie, I had like 4 Cheetos.

8:00 p.m: Out for a friends birthday. It was mainly an oyster bar. The good thing about being veggie there is that I had literally two options so I couldn't go nuts. I had sweet potato fries and a salad that was delicious.  I also would like to commend myself for taking myself out of a sugar filled situation. A few of my friends went to hang out at their house where I knew there were cupcakes. If I went, I know I'd have a few. So yea, sorry friends, you'll be seeing less of me if sweets are involved.
Exercise (10:30 p.m): 30 min treadmill.  Wish I had done more. Was supposed to see my trainer but had to cancel cause of work. Ugh!

Planning to get up early to get another run in. Likely gonna work late tomorrow so I gotta do something!

10:30 a.m: Apple

I am envisioning being on the subway and it's so rainy that the tunnels flood. Crazy much?

12:30 p.m: Same dinner as last night. Stuffed pepper, cauliflower and bok choy.

Mishkebob tricked me into thinking there were KitKat's in the pumpkins at work. I got excited. I opened the pumpkin to gross insides. Yea, thanks. Now I just want a KitKat.

2:45 p.m: Granola bar, 3 Hershey's kisses, some pretzels 

Exercise (6:30 p.m): 1 hr boxing. Sweaty. Location of this place is a 5 minute walk from work. Amazing.

9:30 p.m: Banana. Then dinner shortly after. Stir fry with coconut oil, garlic, bok choy, mushroom, broccoli. 2 hard boiled eggs.

12:00 p.m: 2 boiled eggs. Stir fry with coconut oil of mushroom, sweet potato and broccoli.
3:30 p.m: Some almonds, wheatberry salad from the grocery store.

7:30 p.m: Stuffed pepper with tomato, zucchini, onion, mushroom, corn, black beans. Boiled cauliflower. Bok Choy fried in coconut oil.
Spent the whole day painting my furniture and moving it. Pretty sure I've hurt my back. I probably shouldn't have lifted all these things on my own. I don't know. Ignore until it is a problem.

I also have uneasy feelings about the weather. If you know me well you know I am afraid of rain. I don't know why. It could snow like nobodies business but snow can't flood. I'm always afraid it's going to flood. So, I'll be scared all week. Warning.

If the world comes to an end, I told you so.

9:30 a.m: Banana

10:30 a.m: 2 hard boiled eggs, sweet potato, mushroom and zucchini fried in coconut oil.
1:00 p.m: Almonds

1:45 p.m: Sandwich. Healthiest option at my parents house. Sad. 1/2 an avocado, slice of Swiss cheese, tomato.
Exercise (4:00 p.m): 1 hr sparring.. in the ring! I can officially say I've punched someone in the face and also felt someone punch me. It was good. I liked it. Also, Narine 'the machine' may be the fight name. I also fell like a complete idiot. I tripped on my own pants as everyone was watching, it was horrible. Of course I fall. Whatever. You get up and keep going. Pretend it never happened.

5:00 p.m: Protein drink

7:15 p.m: Purée of lentils with greens. Had pita bread too.
Exercise (8:30 p.m): 65 minutes on the treadmill. Tried to run most of it. Took a 10 minute break twice.  Lots of sweat. I'm less on the weights these days, more on the cardio. Boxing isn't so much how strong you are, it's how long you can last in the ring and how smart you are with your moves.

Lonely day at work today. No one is here.

12:45 p.m: Same as last night. Pepper and 1/2 avocado.

6:00 p.m onwards: Had a party so I skipped dinner cause I knew I'd fail all night. I had chocolate, chips and carrots. yup! Fun party though. Thanks for those who came! Hope you had fun at my little get together. I did!

Feeling stressed. I don't get stressed really. It's cause I have a party I am hosting tomorrow night and also just found out it's now the first day of our boxing training in the ring. UGH. I don't want to miss that at all but I also don't want to be late to my own party. We'll see what happens. I honestly am not in the mood for a party. I mean, I want to see my friends but just that. I don't care to decorate and make all these snacks. Everything's going to be from the grocery store friends. Just enjoy the company!

Ok, real life.

Exercise (6:00 a.m): 30 min treadmill. Took a 5 min break in between. I hate when people are at the gym in my building. What the hell are so many people doing there at 6 a.m.? Ugh, go away and leave me alone! They're probably thinking the same thing.

7:00 a.m: 1 hard boiled egg

9:30 a.m: 2 rice cakes with almond butter and banana. So good.
I am so ready for food today. I brought lunch and snacks. Yea!

12:00 p.m: Exact same salad as yesterday's dinner.

3:45 p.m: Handful of rice chips.

9:00 p.m: Starved at this point. Had errands to run after work and didn't get to make dinner until late, but I made it! Red pepper stuffed with black beans, tomato, zucchini  onion, corn and mushroom  Made it over coconut oil. 1/2 an avocado on the side.

12:15 p.m: This. Not satisfied even though it was good. I need more food. It was mostly quinoa and grains and stuff.
3:00 p.m: Hot chocolate from a fancy coffee shop. Few almonds.

4:00 p.m: An energy bar from Vega.

Exercise (6:00 p.m): 1 hr training outside on a hill. DEATH. Ask me to do 30 burpees and I'll fucking do it. Go up and down a huge muddy hill and sprint... yea, I die. It was good though.

7:15 p.m: Protein drink

8:30 p.m: Salad. Arugula, boiled sweet potato, mushroom and onion fried in coconut oil. Olive oil/lemon dressing.

So I skipped breakfast, so what? I swear I'm not doing it on purpose. I would never. I love food too much. I just have little time mixed with no food in the fridge.

1:00 p.m: Leftover from dinner last night. All veggies. Need. A. Carb.

3:00 p.m: Half a sandwich that was free at work. It was grilled veggies with some goat cheese. Nom nom.

4:15 p.m: Piece of dark chocolate and a cookie. The cookie was fancy. It had cinnamon on it and you can tell was freshly baked. I don't regret it. It was delicious. Making yummy noises does not convince MK. Learned.

8:00 p.m: Fail of a night. I went for sushi and frozen yogurt with friends. I was tired. Fell asleep at 10:30  and woke up back on the couch at 5 a.m. So, no food was made for lunch today. Ugh.

Exercise (6:00 a.m): 40 min treadmill. 30 running. Stamina is rising!

7:00 a.m: Protein drink, few almonds

12:15 p.m: This. Quinoa salad, a kale salad and potato wedge things. It was good. Is it bad that whenever there is a carb or cheese in my meal I feel guilty? Ugh.
4:00 p.m: A small piece of dark chocolate

7:00 p.m: Made a stir fry with a bunch of veggies with coconut oil and soy sauce.

Aberfoyle Antique Market

Effing love the Aberfoyle Antique Market. Thank you mishkebob for telling me about it. I took a solo (kinda solo, mish was there too) trip here. It's in Guelph, which is an hour drive. Put on some good music and had a nice relaxing drive. When I got there, it was everything I had dreamed of. No stupid vendors selling garbage junk. It was all antiques and basically a good garage sale. Yes! After mulling over some stuff for a few hours I got two things. A coffee table and side table. The mirror one I was super excited about because I've been wanting one of those for so long but they're always very expensive. Combined, the two tables cost less than one god table at Ikea. On my way home my mom called me and was like "Where are you? There's a garage sale I'm at and there's something here you'll want". I was like 10 minutes away and when I got there, she was right. There was this dresser for $40 that I have been wanting for everrrrrr. So I bought that too. My Sunday night was moving a whole pile of shit into my living room. All of which I plan to refurbish sooooo let the crafting begin! I'm not going to procrastinate, this will be done in the next few weeks fo sho. Excited! Here is a sneak peak. Looks like crap now but you'll see.

I think it's cause my place is a bit messy. I don't like messy. I bought that desk that I plan to refurbish and it's sitting in my living room driving me insane. I've had no time to work on it. Clutter makes me crazy. Less shit you have the better.

No exercise til Monday btw.

11:00 a.m: The usual. 2 eggs scrambled in coconut oil, boiled sweet potato and brussels sprouts.

3:00 p.m: 2 rice cakes with hazelnut butter. Im almost done with the rice cakes, ok? Ill cool it.

Lazy. I don't care to update yesterday. It was some cheat, some veggies. Bye.

Muscle soreness is at an all time high today. Always worst two days after! I hope my teammates are in the same boat. Let me tell ya it's hard to move.

8:00 a.m: Few almonds

9:30 a.m: Apple

I brought a huge bag of clothes I am planning to sell today. There's a store on Queen St. that takes it in. It's all good shit but just doesn't fit me anymore. Bad problem to have? Nope! :) I'll take it.

12:00 p.m: Soup. Mix of veggies and beans really. I don't know, my mom made it.
2:30 p.m: Oh did I just go to town on the free amazing pasta at work. I had too. I was crabby and it was there and that soup was just not satisfying. I mean, I had some salad with it so there was a bit of greens but oh man, so good. No plans tonight so I guess I'll get a workout in.

Two hideous photos of me have been posted on the Facebook group for boxing. Self esteem = crushed. Normally I would've thought I looked fat but for once, I don't... it's my face. I'm pretty sure it was taken during my jump of a burpee. Bad news.

5:00 p.m: Chips. All my fault. I even opened the bag folks. Go me.

7:15 p.m: 2 rice cakes with hazlenut butter.

Need a veggie...

Exercise (9:45 p.m): 1 hour on treadmill. 35 at 3.5 mph, 25 at 5 mph.

11:00 p.m: Protein drink.

Friends, random stalker readers, misc,
I have reached my goal of losing 30 pounds.

I said I'd stop this blog when that happens, but now it's become habit. I'm also now going for another 10. Especially with this boxing, I need it. Muffin top ain't gone yet!

Remember when I was fat? Fun.


Feel good today. I woke up and worked out on my own free will. It's been a while since I've done that but I have plans tonight which means I wouldn't end up working out. So, I'd inevitably end up feeling guilty. Plus, my lady curse is looming so I need to get in as much as I can. TMI! I'll stop there. :)

Exercise (6:00 a.m): 30 min treadmill. Not much but lost a few hundred calories so hey, better than nothing! Figured I need to get more running in versus weights. Gotta be fit in the ring!

Also pretty sore already from last nights work out. That's going to stick until tomorrow.

7:00 a.m: Protein drink

9:30 a.m: Banana, will likely snack on those almonds I bought yesterday. I saw them in my drawer and it's all I can think about. This is how foodaholics think.

12:30 p.m: Mexican. Out. Huge F-in vegan burrito. Mostly lettuce and avocado. Rice. Had guacamole too with nachos. Gooooooooooood!

6:30 p.m: 1 rice cake with hazelnut butter.

9:00 p.m: A Mars chocolate bar. I was at a movie screening thing and they were giving them away. Clearly I was starved as I never ate dinner.

12:30 p.m: This. Random salads I bought. Didn't bring lunch today. I had a good run there. Anyway, it's a brussels sprouts salad, kale salad and squash salad. Nom!
3:00 p.m: Banana

Training tonight is a boot camp where both teams go against eachother. Ugh. I hate it already. I don't like being competitive. I just like everyone to have fun. When people get competitive they are mean and make others feel like shit. That's not me.

4:15 p.m: Bunch of flavoured almonds. Damn, they were good. They were sweet chipotle. So there was some sugar on them. Booooo. Oh and a handful of 'veggie chips'.

Exercise (6:30 p.m): 2 hrs of training. Good shit. Slipped on my puddle of sweat.

9:00 p.m: Protein drink

10:30 p.m: a homemade veggie and bean soup.

11:00 p.m: 1 rice cake with hazelnut butter.

8:00 a.m: Banana

10:00 a.m: Bought a sandwich from the coffee shop downstairs. The inside has one egg, some lettuce and like some aioli save thingy. It's good. Very small for its price but ah well.

Barely used my debit card the past week and a half. Bringing lunch from home is awesome!

12:00 p.m: Leftover from last night. Cauliflower rice and veggies, arugula with olive oil/lemon dressing.
2:00 p.m: New thing. Hazelnut butter. Life has changed now that I know that nuts can all be made into butters. Who the F eats just peanut butter anymore? Come on now. It also helps that I am steps away from Kensington Market so I  have easy access to these types of things at health food stores. Anyways, had 1 rice cake with it. Good.

Was supposed to see my trainer tonight but something came up for her. It's ok. But now I'm not going to work out. Boooo. Tuesday is actually awesome TV night now and I'm going to go to watch with a friend. Plus, here's where I get girly, I curled my hair and if I work out I gotta wash it. F that.

Oh Monday. You're back. Training is cancelled tonight. If it's not raining, going to try and run.

7:30 a.m: 1 hard boiled egg.

10:00 a.m: Snacking on baby carrots til lunch. Sometimes they taste funny and it makes me nervous. How typical am I to a passer-byer?
12:30 p.m: Arugula with olive oil/lemon dressing at the bottom. Top is the stuffing I made for the peppers. Not gonna bother with all the ingredients. Tasted really good this time actually. It was the corn. I'm not allowed to be eating corn right now. Don't tell!
3:45 p.m: Apple with some honey.

8:00 p.m: Bunch of veggies sautéed in coconut oil. Cauliflower rice. Win! Made enough for lunch tomorrow. Yea to bringing lunch everyday!
Exercise (9:15 p.m): Spent about 45 minutes at the gym. Half cardio, half weights. Hate working out on my own, it's so boring. Can't wait to see the trainer tomorrow. Will be a better workout.

10:45 p.m: 1 rice cake with some almond butter.

Practice makes perfect!

My one goal this week was to perfect wrapping my hands. We finally got our gloves and stuffs. I think I got it! Thank goodness for the age of YouTube tutorials!


Woke up at 8 a.m. I've never ever done that on a Sunday unless I had somewhere to be. Why? I've had his stiffness in my neck for a few days. Nothing bad, very very subtle. The moment I turned in bed I heard a click in my neck. Instant thought was "Not this again!!'. If you know me you know that I get weird neck problems. I actually don't think I've had it yet this year so I guess I'm overdue. Hah. Anyways, I got right up at and hit the shower. I find heat always helps. So now I am sitting on my couch with perfect posture hoping that it doesn't get worse. I'm ok right now. Tomorrow is boot camp and I can't miss it. It's a combined outdoor one with the other team (now talking Agency Wars). Fingers crossed I'm ok! Guess no work out today. For all I know this is my body telling me to take it easy. I think I might be working out too much. Apparently, there is such a thing.

8:45 a.m: Early rise means I get a nice breakfast of champions! Glad I went grocery shopping yesterday. Boiled sweet potato, kale sauteed in coconut oil, 2 scrambled eggs in coco oil again. S&P over it all.

11:30 a.m: Banana

Let's not update the rest of the day as it's a fail of epic proportions. On the up side, I had a good time with my friends. A wonderful antique desk was purchased for $25 which I plan to restore and turn into a bedroom vanity. I'm mad I'm busy every night this week because I won't have time to paint! Boooo to life getting in the way!

Making lunches and snacks for tomorrow. Annoying but hey, saves me from craving junk in the afternoon!

3:00 p.m: 1Bit of the leftover tabouli from last night.

5:00 p.m: Banana

Exercise (5:15 p.m): Spent 45 mins at the gym. Feel like I want to go back later.

6:45 p.m: This is a familiar dinner these days. I made extra of the stuffing and froze it. So it will def be here again. Stuffing in the peppers is coconut oil, onion, black beans, TVP, canned fire roasted tomatoes, corn, zucchini, some spices. Salad is arugula with olive oil/lemon dressing. Had a date bal right after.
Feeling funny today. Like chest pain funny. It's not the acid reflux pain. It's something else. :( WTF. How do you get your heart checked out!?!
10:00 p.m: Small bag of movie theatre popcorn. No butter.

It's Friday night and I don't want to go anywhere or see anyone. I want to exercise. I've reached a point in my life where exercise is officially part of my life and is just another task of the day. I actually like it.

8:00 a.m: 1 hard boiled egg

10:30 a.m: 2 rice cakes with almond butter

1:00 p.m: I made lunch for myself last night. Go me! It's been nice this week not spending money on food. Anyways, it's arugula with olive oil/lemon dressing (boring!) and the other is a stir fry with coconut oil, sweet potato, brussels sprouts, onion, mushroom.
4:00 p.m: Chips. Kinda sorta the healthy kind? Still not perfect but it did the snack wanting trick.

7:00 p.m: Made tabouli. Tomato, parsley, green onion, garlic, wheatberry, olive oil, lemon, S&P

Made these date ball snacks a la the mishkebob. Thy actually turned out delicious and it took everything in me not to finish them all. I had a few. Dates are very high in sugar. Yikes. Ingredients were just dates, cocoa powder, coconut flakes, almonds and vanilla extract. Yum!
 Exercise (10:00 p.m): Spent 1 whole hour on the treadmill. DAMN! I ran for like 25 mins of it. It felt awesome. I used to die at 10 minutes. 
11:30 p.m: Protein drink

Going to bed late tonight. Feel like it, ok?

10:00 a.m: Baby carrots

12:15 p.m: Exact same as yesterday but ended up frying some mushrooms in coconut oil last night to add some more. I had the rest of the avocado oil kettle chips as dessert. Then, cause I have no control, I had a tiny fresh bagel that they were giving away on the street. That sounds sketchy. It wasn't, I swear.
3:45 p.m: Apple

Exercise (6:30 p.m): 1 hr with trainer. Got some sessions again. Need to ramp up the exercise for boxing. I don't want to be weak. I'm feeling like I am.

7:30 p.m: Protein drink

10:00 p.m: 1 rice cake with cashew butter. 1 hard boiled egg.

12:30 p.m: Leftover stuffed pepper from yesterday and some arugula with lemon and olive oil dressing.
2:30 p.m: A bag of kettle chips made in avocado oil. These are mega addictive and I fear I'm about to finish the whole bag.

4:00 p.m: Apple

Exercise (6:30 p.m): 2 hrs of training. 1 hr conditioning, 1 hr boxing. Boxing got real today. Almost got hit in the face. Practice time.

9:00 p.m: Protein drink

10:00 p.m: 1 rice cake with cashew butter

It's time for a haircut.
My current inspiration for hair I love is Zoe. She's awesome. I think I also like her because I want her entire wardrobe. She makes me feel ok for being 28 and wearing polkadots and pink lipstick. :)

Every time I get bangs I hate my life right after. But, I've always cut my own bangs soooo maybe that's why? This time I'll leave it to the professionals. Also, I can't believe my hair is actually that long. I use to have hair as short as a boy. Yikes!


8:00 a.m: Handful of almonds

12:30 p.m: Soup (butternut squash) and a veggie wrap. Probably a lot of calories.

Grocery shopping tonight so I'm hoping to be set for the week with healthy foods and snacks. On that note, time to look for a few recipes I want to try.

You know what's sad and sucks about being a girl? Well, a girl that cares about her appearance. I want to work out tonight but if I do it means I will sweat and ruin my perfectly clean and curled hair. Annoying. Working out every day means I need to wash my hair too. If I don't, it's not pretty. So that kinda sucks. I don't want to style my hair every frigin day... GAHD! Girl problems!

7:30 p.m: Mmm! Stuffed pepper using this recipe. Avocado. Filling. I probbly could have done with half that pepper. Made enough for lunch tomorrow though. Yeah!

9:30 p.m: 1 rice cake with cashew butter

Last day of vacation. I stayed up til 3:30 a.m watching stupid TV and then when I actually went to bed, I slept way too long. So now I feel like I wasted the day sleeping. Ugh.

Today's plan: Laundry. Get some exercise in. Get some cleaning in.

What am I doing now? Watching a stupid episode of Dr. Phil. Annoying.

2:30 p.m: Baby carrots and homemade guacamole.
Exercise (6:15 p.m): 1 hr at the gym. Could've worked harder. Damn. I feel like I need my trainer back.

8:00 p.m: Could I be any more vegetarian with this meal? Boiled brussels sprouts and broccoli, 2 scrambled eggs with kale (fried in coconut oil). Salt and pepper over it all.
Need sugar!! Ugh. Ok, no, I don't need it. I just want it. Luckily I have nothing in here to eat that's bad for me. See? I'm a good girl when I'm not influenced by others! :) My dessert is going to come in the form of....

8:15 p.m: 2 plain rice cakes with almond butter and cinnamon.

Food day. Uh oh.

11:30 a.m: Few almonds

Exercise (12:00 p.m): Managed to get in a 25 min treadmill run. Running late. Lost about 300 calories so its better than nothing!

12:45 p.m: Protein drink

2:30 p.m: At my parents house and family is late. I snuck a slice of home made pizza and a banana.

4:30 p.m: Veggie thanksgiving dinner. Apple pie was had too. My parents haven't heard of vegetables. If this were my meal it'd be 75% veggies. Ah well.
More food was had later. At a friends. I managed to say no to the chocolate cake (yea small victories!) but it doesn't help that I went to town on the guacamole.
