Wednesday

I put my alarm on for 5 a.m. so I'd go to the gym. I snoozed until 7. F that.


8:00 a.m: Some almond butter on Melba toast.

10:00 a.m: Some crazy smoothie. Here is what I remember being in there. Beets, ginger, honey, brown rice protein, lemon, apple, dates. It's interesting. I mean I'll drink it for the healthiness of it but I won't buy it again.

12:15 p.m: Delicious lunch. Panini sandwich with whole wheat bread, goat cheese, avocado, garlic spread, mushrooms and arugula. Mmmmm!
3:00 p.m: A small piece of homemade almond bread? I don't know what you call it. The kebob made it and it was goooood! Handful of chips too.

7:00 p.m: Tabouli I made. 

Exercise (8:00 p.m): 30 mins on treadmill

9:00 p.m: Stove top popcorn during Modern Family. Good episode.

6:00 a.m: Cup of fruit juice. 2 pieces of Melba toast.

Exercise (7 a.m): 45 min boot camp

9:00 a.m: Protein bar

12:15 p.m: Falafel sandwich

3:30 p.m: Broccoli and hummus
6:30 p.m: Same dinner as yesterday. Veggie, tofu korma.

7:30 p.m: ummm yummy dessert time? Rice milk, ice, banana, cinnamon, cocoa powder, drop of vanilla extract, almond butter and oatmeal.

8:00 a.m: Banana, fruit juice

9:30 a.m: Protein shake

12:45 p.m: Mushroom soup. Mmmm. Buttery biscuit came with it.

3:00 p.m: Some chips

7:00 p.m: Veggies and tofu in korma sauce. The sauce had like no flavour. I guess that's what you get when you buy the healthiest kind.
8:00 pm onwards: Friends came over. Had stove top popcorn and a chocolate bar

Big things are going down.

11:30 a.m: Nutella and banana on Melba toast. Finish damnit!!

Exercise (2:30 p.m): 1 hr on treadmill

4:00 p.m: Tempeh in olive oil, red pepper and asparagus in coconut oil. Salt and some herbs on top.
 5:00 p.m: Stove top popcorn

6:30 p.m: Nutella, again. Ok? It needs to finish so I can't buy it again for a few months.

9:00 p.m: Fruit juice. OMG, I drank something other than water! :P I also had popcorn... again. Oscars are on. I'm part of a pool at work. I may have a chance. I don't know.

Saturday

Yesterday was jam packed so I don't care enough to post my every move.  Point form?

- breakfast: Nutella on Melba toast
- lunch: The kale, avocado, tomato salad I love
- snack: Bounty chocolate bar, handful of kettle chips
- dinner: Pretty healhy salad again. Dessert though. Delish.
- late night: Went for gelato randomly. F-ing good.
-later night: 2 veggie spring rolls, cake

So my day? Niagara Falls. I profited $90! WHATUP! haha The slots went off, it was nice. Then we ended up at Hollywood gelato via random iphone search on ride back. Tehn a friend's house for board games, karaoke and the Kinect dance off game. I did nothing. I'm too reserved for all that dontcha know? :)

Exercise (7 a.m.): 45 min boot camp. Why don't squats ever get any easier?!? My legs are muscle city but still, burning pain!

10:00 a.m: Protein shake

12:30 p.m: Salad. Free at work. That was nice. Bunch of veggies with balsamic dressing. Grilled mushrooms... mmmm...
2:00 p.m: Few mini eggs. So F-ing good.
  
7:30 p.m: Fried some cauliflower and asparagus in olive oil. Put garlic, salt, lemon juice in after. Not too much. I saved room for what you'll see after. :)
 8:30 p.m: Melba toast with Nutella and bananas. Loved it.

3:00 p.m: These weird little balls. Hah. Ingredients are bananas, raisins, dates, cashew and almonds mashed together.

4:00 p.m: Apple

6:00 p.m: Bunch of chocolate chips :P

7:00 p.m: Spaghetti squash with coconut curry sauce from a jar, mushrooms too.

"Family day" a.k.a day off from work.

12:15 p.m: Green beans in garlic sauce and Chinese broccoli fried with coconut oil. Some salt.
Exercise (1:45 p.m): 1 hour on the treadmill 

4:00 p.m: Mmmmm! Kale on the bottom. Rest is avocado, tomato, garlic, dried basil, wheatberry, olive oil, lemon juice, salt. New obsession.
 8:45 p.m: Kale toasted with some olive oil and salt

4:00 p.m: First time for ever getting this and I must say, it was amazing. Veggie/tofu curry with rice. Mmmmm!
 7:00 p.m: Stove top popcorn, also made some cookies. Had one.

10:30 p.m: Timmie's. XS French vanilla and a bagel with cream cheese

So, this week-end was supposed ot be low key but instead I've been with friends the entire time. Not complaining. I should be thankful but it's resulted in me slacking on working out and also eating out every day. Bah. Oh well. Good company.

Saturday

9:00 a.m: Almond butter on melba toast

12:00 p.m: Banana, yogurt smoothie

1:30 p.m: Nutella and banana on toast

4:00 p.m ish: Sushi and tofu. See below.
6:00 p.m: I made the chickpea, almond butter, choc chip dip that I'm obsessed with. Ate that.

8:30 p.m: Went to Congee with friends. Chinese food that was not needed was eaten. Mostly green beans and fried tofu.

7:30 p.m: Ummmm, delicious dinner alert!! Very filling as well. Avocado, tomato, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, wheatberry on a bed of kale with some salt and dried basil. Mmmmm!
9:00 p.m onwards: Went to Timmie's with some friends. Had bad stuff. French vanilla, a cookie, chocolate danish and um, some bread. Whoa.

Exercise (10:00 p.m): 30 min Nike Fit App workout. Loving it. No need to be social and go to the gym.

Valentine's Day

I think this is like the first time ever I've actually given a shit about Valentine's Day.
The baking went well. I got an honourable mention but didn't win the grand prize. It's all good. I had a great day. Check out the tumblr account that was created with everyone's stuff. Fun!

Day 7 - Red Velvet cake in a jar

Alright, day 7 of 7 days of Valentine treats. Finally!!
I have easily gained a pound and I feel like shit. Need to get back on the wagon!

So I made red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting.
The red velvet recipe is this and well, F the frosting cause I used pre-made. Big time regret. That shit is soooo sweet. Oh well. At least they look super duper cute!

I made two batches and liked only one,

Day Six - Cake Pops

Day 6 of the Valentine's 7 days of treats is tomorrow.
I missed day 5 last Friday and just gave chocolates from the store. Considering tomorrow and Tuesday will be awesomeness, I'm sure she'll be fine :P

First attempt ever at cake pops. Not too bad! Chocolate inside. Mmmmm!

Busy day.
Went to the parents house to borrow the car for some suburban errands.

11:00 a.m: 2 choc rice crispy squares

1:00 p.m: Some of 'the dip' I took for the fam. They enjoyed it.

3:00 p.m: Tabouli and a cheesey casserole thing. I had it twice.

I also had a few cake pops. That post will appear shortly.

Exercise (9:45 p.m): Too much to do tonight so I did a 30 min Nike Fit workout off the good ol iphone. I took a screen grab at V ups. Hate those.

7:00 p.m: Holy veggie plate. Salad with arugula, goat cheese, tomato, olive oil, salt, lemon. Cauliflower and zucchini fried in coconut oil.
10:30 p.m: Watching Edward Scissorhands and having some stove top popcorn. That's my kinda Friday night. No gym. F it.

12:30 p.m: Free Thai food at work. Mmm deep fried tofu. Tastes like nuggets!
I had a croissant at some point, and an oatmeal cookie

7:00 p.m: Leftover dip with Melba toast. Too lazy to find link to reference. I then fried a whole bunch of baby bok choy in coconut oil and had with some parmesan cheese. Sorry, it was so delicious I forgot to take a pic.

8:30: I'm a hungry one tonight! I baked a spaghetti squash. So delicious. Anyway, I had some with tomato sauce. Rest is for lunch tomorrow. Successful week of not buying lunch even once! :) YAY!

Day Four - Funfetti Cookie Dough Balls

Day four of 7 days of Valentine treats!

Today was fun. The biscotti was a hit at the office. Although fingers are really pointing towards me. Well, like I said, mishkebob and I. I'm ok with that. Few more days left.

I first attempted to make these, but they failed. Instead, they turned out exactly like the chocolate chip cookie dough dip I made the other day. Which of course put me in panic mode, but also excited because I love that dip. I had some with melba toast.

So backup 'thank God I had all the ingredients' treat, Funfetti cookie dough balls. Similar to the cookies from the other day. Gotta step it up!

Wednesday

8:00 a.m: Some yogurt

9:30 a.m: Smoothie. Healthy, don't worry.

12:30 p.m: Work had pizza. Free. I had.

Sometime in the afternoon I had one Oreo biscotti.

7:30 p.m: See below. Stir fry. Zucchini.

Day Two - Sugar Cookies

Day two of the Valentine's Day 7 days of treats.

Today's surprise treats to the person at work went well, I think. She shared the treats with everyone. Her all staff e-mail said she already thinks she might know who it is. I think she thinks it's mishkebob. Muahaha!

Anyway, I made these. I added chocolate over top though. They're a bit bland on their own but it'll pass. I'll edit this with my 'poem' tomorrow. I forgot it at work.

Exercise (3:15 p.m): 1 hr 10 on treadmill.
4:45 p.m: Mmmm. Spaghetti squash as the pasta, tomato sauce, mushroom, broccoli, parm cheese
8:15 p.m: Fried cauliflower in olive oil. Used a mix of olive oil, garlic, lemon, salt as the dressing.
Might have had some of the choc rice crispy balls. Had to taste it after all.
