I was on a mission to lose 30 pounds. I did it, then I gained most of it back. Been blogging everything I've eaten and all exercise since early 2011. I only drink water, no soda, coffee or alcohol. Female, 29, Toronto. Current thing: Back to losing weight.
2:45 p.m: Potato salad I made. Potato, parsley, cilantro, green onion, garlic, olive oil, lemon, salt
8:00 p.m: Went to Moxie's for the annual friend Christmas get together. 19 people this year. Yeesh! Anyways, I had a veggie burger with sweet potato fries. The fries were better than the burger. I then got a small brownie with some ice cream. It was free! Shut up!
11:30 p.m or something: Some people came over after. I put out nachos with my goat cheese and tomato sauce concoction thing. I may have had.
Annnnnnd I'm back!
It got busy. I went out a lot. I didn't feel like updating my every move. I didn't eat too badly. I did exercise. Anyway, back to it. 30 pounds is not here yet.
12:15 p.m: Two hard boiled eggs
Exercise (2:15 p.m): Spend a bit over an hour at the gym. Did 10 continuous minutes on the treadmill. Woohoo for not collapsing! I expected too. I hadn't ran in a while. I also did that after having already been on it for 30 mins. Slowly but surely. The goal is now 20 minutes.
3:45 p.m: Protein shake. Rice milk, water, frozen strawberries, protein powder.
6:30 p.m: Oh yeaaaa. Warning: photo not as good as it looks. Home made pizza, lacked flavour. Dough, spinach, olive oil, mushrooms, salt, onion, goat cheese. Meh. I still ate it. It needed tomato sauce :P
8:00 p.m: Had some cottage cheese. Then, a bit later, a fat free brownie. So F-ing good for fat free. Thank you Weight Watchers.
Exercise (10:45 p.m.): 1 hour t the gym again. All treadmill. I felt guilty for the brownie. Plus, nothing better to do.
5:30 p.m: Went to a pub with the new co-workers. Had the usual pub foods. Nachos, some sweet potato fries and a few perogies. No alcohol. No one noticed yet I don't think. In time. They'll be making fun of it in no time.
Is this week over yet?
Next week off. The nice perks of working in advertising. New girl at work is not so fun in the beginning. I'm still shy awkward girl. I feel it.
5:30 a.m: Cereal with rice milk
Exercise (7 a.m): 1 hour with trainer. Legs are sore.
12:30 p.m: Butternutsquash soup with veggie wrap
Had a few mini brownies. Damn.
6:30 p.m: Smushed an avocado with cilantro, salt, lemon juice, garlic and had with some hippie blue corn nachos. Then, I still felt hungry. So, I fried some green beans in butter and ha parmesan over it. Meh.
So, kinda a stupid post here.
I've been noticing something about myself I don't like lately. I don't know if I've always had it but I've definitely noticed it more having lost some weight.
The thing that sucks for you here is that I'm not going to say what it is. If I do, you'll notice it and it'll be all you see when talking to me.
Point is, wtf. I get skinnier and something else gets worse.
Ugh. Ask me in person and I may tell you what it is. Although, not like anyone is going to be honest with me.
Exercise (7 a.m.): 50 mins with trainer. I had a moment towards the end and had to stop. I almost threw up.
2:30 p.m: Indian.
5:00 p.m onwards: Last day at work. Sad. I'm surprised I didn't cry. We went out for the night so I ate.. stuff. I told everyone instead of alcohol that I want an awesome desert. So, um, delicious find. It was a brownie with ice cream and cookie dough on top. So F-ing good I shall go back to the Ballroom just for that.
I don't think I've accepted that I'm no longer working at my... work. The fact that Monday I start somewhere else is odd. We'll see.
Damn the sweets in the office!! This is 2010 Christmas all over again. That's when I got fat!
1:00 p.m: Veggie panini with some coleslaw
5:00 p.m onwards: Work Christmas party - again. This time at the office. I had random appetizers throughout the night but mostly snacked on random delicious cheeses with bread. So good! I swear if I ate meat or drank, the calories I would've consumed tonight would've been scary. So hey, all that cheese wasn't THAT bad considering what this could've been!
12:00 p.m: Haven't seen this one in a while. Tomato, garlic, quinoa, parsley, olive oil, lemon, salt.
F-ing sweets everywhere. Damn Christmas. I ate them, ok?
7:00 p.m: Gotta love some potato salad. Potato, parsley, green onion, garlic, lemon, olive oil, salt. Essentially it's what I had for lunch but the tomatoes are potatoes instead! haha
New phone. The quality of photos has gone up.
10:00 p.m: Protein shake
I watched 'The Help' just now. It wasn't bad. What I expected. The only parts that got me were when old people and kids were mistreated. It's odd. There was this one mom who basically relied on her nanny to take care of her kid. I realize a LOT of people do that, even today. Drives me nuts. TAKE CARE OF YOUR OWN CHILDREN. No, it's not easy. But, if you can't do it, don't have any. Your kids deserve better and if you can't commit to them, don't have them at all. They'll grow up and remember it. At least I think so.
Work Christmas party tonight. Woot.
First year being vegtarian attending a sit down meal where I can't decide what I want. This could suck. I'm gonna want the meat.
6:00 a.m: Banana, strawberry yogurt
Exercise (7 a.m.): 45 min boot camp. Last one til January! of cottage cheese
9:00 a.m: Little bit of cottage cheese
So, there is a chocolate chip cookie contest at work. Don't ask. I had like, two.
12:45 p.m: Lunch. Salad. Arugula, goat cheese, red pepper, tomato, green onion, balsamic dressing. I may have had another cookie as well.
Ok, so I ate all night. We went to the work Christmas party. Gooooood food. It was basically a 10 course meal where they keep feeding you stuff. Considering I don't eat meat, they fed me pretty well. But I can't tell you how badly I wanted the pulled pork BBQ sliders. Ugh. Or the potato skins. Damn. Oh well.
Side bar, and I won't get too into this, but I am leaving my current work for another. Although I am super excited, I am also super duper sad. This place is like my family and last night made me sadder. It was a really good time.
Exercise (5:00 p.m): 1 hour on the treadmill. Oh the power of good music.
8:30 p.m: Chinese take-out. Minimum delivery was $25 soooo needless to say, there is a LOT of food. I'll be eating this for the next two days.
I curled my hair tonight for no reason. I used hot rollers. Let's just say I look like I'm from the 70's. It's a little ridiculous. Kinda cool though. I wonder what it will look like in the morning. I'll end up putting it in a bun and no one will know what lies beneath.
Tomorrow is also a big day at work. That is all I will say.
Yea, I went out yesterday. I was too busy to update and now I don't care.
I ate... ok. But, I did have a huge piece of chocolate cake around 1 a.m. mmmm.
Four bars and one 24 hour diner in 4 hours. Yikes. No alcohol for me. I must have been super boring to the others. meh.

So apparently it is the Santa Crawl tonight. About maybe 30 people walked into the pub dressed in Santa gear. Kinda funny.
