8:00 a.m: Few almonds

9:00 a.m: Plain oatmeal with water, cinnamon, honey, banana.

1:00 p.m: Falafel sandwich, only a few fries

4:00 p.m: Fibre bar

Exercise (7:30 p.m): Ran like 2k. I was outside and it started to rain. Did something at least.

8:30 p.m: This. In a pan I had a bunch of random veggies, spaghetti squash and coconut oil.

1:15 p.m: Brown rice, tofu and green bean thing. I also had a veggie soup with it.
4:30 p.m: Fibre bar, 2 starburst candies

Exercise (5:30 p.m): 1 hr with the trainer

8:00 p.m: Banana, few almonds

8:30 p.m: Mix of parsley, green onion, too much garlic, tomato, wheatberry, salt, lemon juice, olive oil.

2:00 p.m: cracker chip things

5:00 p.m: Parfait. Yogurt, granola, strawberries

Exercise (7:30 p.m): Ran 5k. It was tougher than usual but I made same time as usual.

9:15 p.m: Hate that dinner was so late. Busy day. Anyway, holy full plate Batman. We've got boiled brussels sprouts, 2 eggs, sweet potato and kale fried in coconut oil.
Didn't eat the kale. I only had a few. Needed to be fried more.

Let's just say, those fibre bars did what the packaging says it does. I just thought they tasted good! Too much info for a food blog? Not at all! :)

Thunder last night was terrifying.
At the worst moment  there was this noise that at first I thought was an alarm and then after really listening, I noticed was a human. The best way to describe it it sounded like a man turning into a werewolf and the pain was torturous. WTF. I was scared. Who/what was he!?!

8:00 a.m: Almonds

12:00 p.m: Same as yesterday's dinner. The stir fry.

2:30 p.m: Some rice chips.

4:00 p.m: Fibre bar

7:30 p.m: Salad at a pub. It was grilled veggies and goat cheese over romaine, balsamic dressing. Seemed healthy.

10:00 a.m: The mishkebob brought me homemade cheesecake. Yes, I'm eating it for breakfast, so? It's delicious!

1:00 p.m: Falafel plate with stuff in it. Yup.
I bought a jean jacket I am obsessed with right now. As of the last 2 hours. It's a bit snug but I am obsessed and must make it fit better. 


4:00 p.m: Iced coffee. Coffee, milk, ice, honey and date syrup

Exercise (7:00 p.m): 1 hr gym. Half cardio, half weights

8:30 p.m: Dinner. Random but tasty! Pan with coconut oil, kale, spinach, bunch of frozen veggies. TVP.

Tuesday - lots of pics today!

6:00 a.m: Almonds and banana

Exercise (7 a.m): Ugh. Apparently boot camp is over. Boooo. I went to the gym for nothing. I was in super lazy mode so I did 30 minutes on the treadmill. Useless.

9:30 a.m: Breakfast sandwich win. That's egg, arugula and some sort of sauce in there that's delicious.
11:30 a.m: Protein drink. I'm not loving this batch. They come in juice boxes and this last box has had like little chunks in it. I know, that sounds grosse, and it is. When I first bought it I left it in the car on a hot Summer day and I knew I shouldn't have, that's what did it - I'm sure of it. I hope the next case I bought doesn't have the same thing cause they taste delicious otherwise.

1:00 p.m: A delicious salad from the one and only Sense Appeal, yes please! Big time damage to my wallet though!
2:00 p.m: protein bar thingie

6:30 p.m: Dinner. Same omelet as yesterday, brussels sprouts, avocado

9:00 p.m: Coconut milk, frozen berries, protein powder

Starves.

12:30 p.m: Veggie Thai curry with brown rice and lentil soup

4:00 p.m: 'date almond' smoothie from Fresh. So good!! Almond butter, dates, maple syrup, banana, soymilk, cinnamon. Walnut brownie from there too so it was kinda ok. All gluten, wheat, weird stuff free.


Exercise (6:00 p.m): 1 hr with trainer


7:15 p.m: Protein drink, half.


9:00 p.m: Random mix. Clockwise. Omelet with 2 eggs, goat cheese, frozen spinach and vegan butter. Zuchinni 'fries' with quinoa flour and bread crumbs batter, bakes. 1 small avocado with lemon and salt, boiled wheatberry.

I don't remember the times of all this so in order of appearance, he is today.

Almonds
Banana
Stuffed pepper. It had tomato sauce, tomato, goat cheese, green onion, garlic, salt, corn and zuchinni in it. Meh. Not THAT good. Had with sweet potato fried in coconut oil. Now that was good. Had some mayo with it.
Addicted to sugar. This was my attempt at dessert. Granola, cocoa powder, almond butter, agave. 
Exercise - 1 hr at the gym. Various stuff. Mostly cardio.
This in a bowl. Parsley, tomato, garlic (tons of it, it burned), wheatberry, green onion, olive oil, lemon juice, salt. Nom Nom.

10:00 a.m: Like 4 small girl scout type cookies. Kinda like Oreo's.

This morning I woke up at 5 a.m, put on my gym clothes, then fell back asleep in them. I then woke up too late and felt like a loser. I just can't seem to do it on my own free will. I'm gonna have to do this boot camp for the rest of my life. Seems to be the only thing I actually commit too.

12:30 p.m: Veggie burger, no bread. Salads. So good.

6:30 p.m: Fries at Wendy's. It was the only option before the movie. Not like they have veggie options so fries it was!

10:00 p.m: movie was great. Pub after, had nachos.

Noodles = Justin Timerlake hair from the late 90's.
4:00 p.m: Protein bar

6:00 p.m: Friend's house. Some chips.

8:30 p.m: Another friends house with previous friend. What a Thursday! Anyway, we had BBQ veggie burgers, lots of veggies, some soy protein bite thingies (my only veggie friend was the 'host' so it was nice to have options!) and watermelon.

10:30 a.m: Small bag of Special K chip cracker things. 120 calories a bag, not bad. Taste bland though. Needs some fatty dip.

12:30 p.m: Pizza at work. It was super thin so felt better than normal pizza. You could actually taste the flavours. It's gonna be a carb filled day - you'll see.

6:00 p.m: I had a bit of a martini (yes, I drank, so what? It was barely anything). A delicious salad which was like arugula, pecans, goat cheese in puff pastry, onion vinaigrette dressing, and a pear. SO GOOD. Also had sweet potato fries and dessert. A warm cookie with ice cream on top. Amazing. Go to Hey Lucy. Never disappoints.

Pain. Muscle pain. Good pain. I hurt.

6:00 a.m: handful of almonds

Exercise (7:00 a.m): 45 min boot camp

9:30 a.m: Breakfast sandwich I bought. So damn good. Egg, some pistacchio spread, spinach, something else. Delish.
1:30 p.m: Salad at work, leftover from a pizza lunch. No pizza left. Anyway, it was literally just lettuce and balsamic vinaigrette.. oh, and a dead fly. Yup.

3:00 p.m: Had a 'date almond' smoothie from Fresh. So good!! Almond butter, dates, maple syrup, banana, soymilk, cinnamon. Also a chocolate chip cookie. From Fresh as well so it was made with better ingredients I suppose.


6:30 p.m: Dinner with a friend. Chinese food. Yup.

Remember when I used to work out? Hah. Back at it tonight.

9:30 a.m: Co-worker bought delicious sweets. I indulged. Carbs.

1:00 p.m: Veggie burger and salad. No bread though. Sooo good.

Exercise (6:00 p.m): 1 hr with the trainer. Didn't work out for 3 days and I felt like a fat ass. 3 days. That's not even bad!!

7:15 p.m: Protein drink

8:00 p.m: 1 hard boiled egg, baby brussel sprouts fried in vegan butter and garlic, some salt.

I just spent two hours trying on my own clothes. Annoying girl city up in my place.

BBQ at a friends that got rained out. It's ok, still fun. It's the people you're with, right?
Not a healthy day though.

Protein drink, chips, veggie burgers, ice cream sandwiches, yup. Bad.

One friend brought mini homemade veggie burger sliders. Guacamole and cheese too. So good!

Writing this on Monday so don't care enough to get specific. I'll try.
I went shopping in Buffalo so ya, I was in the U.S, meaning there were barely any healthy options in the mall.
I had pizza, protein drink (mine from home), KitKat bar, pasta
1.5 hrs at the border. Get out of here!

8:00 a.m: Few almonds. Usual.

9:30 a.m: Pastizzi. Three. Yes, three.

1:00 p.m: Ravi soups. Mushroom soup and veggie wrap.

6:30 p.m: Banana while I was making the below. Salad which I forced myself to eat, it was a lot and it didn't taste that good. Spinach, 1/2 avocado, goat cheese, tomato, red pepper, wheatberries, green onion, dried basil, lemon juice, olive oil, salt.
Felt shitty. Throat was itchy.

Sunday

11:30 a.m: 2 hard boiled eggs and brussel sprouts. Usual go to quick meal.

3:00 p.m: Handful of almonds

5:00 p.m: At the mall. I was bored. This was honestly the healthiest option at this mall. I TRIED!! Asked for less noodles and more veggie. So ya, noodle, broccoli, eggplant tofu.
7:00 p.m: Smoothie. Rice milk, almond butter, cinnamon, cocoa powder, frozen banana, oatmeal, ice

9:00 p.m: I had some multigrain nacho chips. ugh.

4:00p.m: Banana. Then some fatoush. Google it. Scoop of some frozen yogurt my parents had in a sugar cone.

6:00 p.m: Out. Had a 'potato tornado'. See below. Fries, essentially.
9:00 p.m: Sludge. Hah. So in my pan there is coconut oil, tomato sauce, onion, cheese, frozen spinach, corn, few random veggies and spaghetti squash. Actually kinda delicious. Also had miso soup that I made. Ate about half that. Was full.

Friday

I went to bed at 3 a.m. and woke up for 7. Booo. Tired.

8:00 a.m: Handful of almonds. Usual.

12:30 a.m: Veggie burger and salad. Same for 3 days now. Sad. To be fair, I almost went outside to get something else but ummm, the temperature is record breaking hot today I'm not going outside unless I need too. Which will be when I leave work and go to the train. After that, I'll walk into my place, blast the air conditioning and say F you nature.

7:30 p.m: Sushi.

9:00 p.m: I tried Yogurty's froyo. Omg. BAD IDEA. It's soooo good. Crispy wafer yogurt, brownie and cookie dough bits, coconut flakes, chocolate chips. I also love their branding and design. Check out their web-site.

It was a good night though. Sat on their patio for like 3 hours as random friends from the hood walked by and sat with us. It felt like a sitcom.

I swear, I'm phychic.
I had a random dream last night that I met this person I don't know but know of. He's a relative I've never met and really just have on Facebook. Anyway, I wake up and check Facebook on my phone and he liked something I posted. WTF. Never ever talk to this person, we don't communicate in any way. Weird little coincidence. I know, you care.

6:00 a.m: Small bowl of rice milk with my fake healthy cereal.

Exercise (7:00 a.m): 45 min boot camp. It was good but I didn't sweat like I normally do. Meaning, like buckets. But still, I'm sure it was worth it.

1:15 p.m: Veggie burger and salad. Same as yesterday. So good. I promise I won't get it tomorrow. Oh wait, they were giving out free samples of vanilla bean frappuchino's in front of Starbucks. Had one. Mini!

5:30 p.m: Pizza and salad. Work.

Went to karaoke with work folks. Stayed til 1:45 a.m. Oh man. I had an amazing time. I also noticed I'm very boring. Sorry friends.

All I know is my life is now complete because I got to karaoke Jolene by Dolly Parton. Love that song.

1:15 p.m: A delicious veggie burger with a simple salad. Amazing burger. You could feel it was not made of crap. New fan of Sense Appeal lunch.
4:00 p.m: Apple slices with some honey

Craving sugar. Grrrrr.

Exercise (6:00 p.m): 1 hr with trainer. Rocked it, I think. After an hour of intense leg work outs, I somehow managed to do a minute of a wall sit and my legs weren't shaking. What!?! 

8:00 p.m: Last of the quinoa cakes. Sweet potato fries fried in coconut oil. Light mayo.
Chill, I didn't eat all the mayo.
9:30 p.m: Felt like having a dessert type thing. This was the cloest I got with what I had in the house. Delish! Took a blender and mixed up rice milk, almond butter, cinnamon, honey, frozen banana, cocoa powder, ice. Yum!

Morning boot camp is back! Booooooo and yayyyyy at the same time.
It's gonna feel good to get it out of the way Tues/Thurs and but suck to get up and get ready somewhere else. Meh. New instructor. He's good. No breaks!

6:00 a.m: Two hard boiled eggs

Exercise (7:00 a.m): 45 min boot camp

9:45 a.m: Protein drink

12:30 p.m: Veggie frittata with salad

7:45 p.m: Made these quinoa cakes again. Random 'put everything into a pan' moment. Mini sweet cherry tomatoes, onion, spices, coconut oil, parm cheese. Yup. So full.
I may or may not have had a piece of cheesecake. This is what happens when friends bring it over and leave it. I tell you, I have no control!! The moment I walk through the door I know it's in the freezer and I want it. You don't know.

Happy Canada Day!
Day off. Woohoo!
My work made this video for our client, Molson, and it's taking off on YouTube. It actually went viral.

12:20 p.m: Layered 'dip' for one. I was sooo full after. Layers in order of appearance. Avocado, sour cream, home made salsa, cheese. Had with multigrain nachos.
5:15 p.m: handful of almonds

Exercise (5:30 p.m): Started out running outside with the intention of 5k. Too hot. I did 2.1k, 17 minutes. I then walked into the gym and just did weights and stuff. Found the gym workout below that I did once. I was going to do it three times but by the end of attempt one, I died. Well, it had also been an hour of working out so I was done.
7:00 p.m: Last of the leftover food. The rice stuff is th stuffing I had in the peppers. Pretty good on its own too! Lots of garlic. :)
9:00 p.m: "Rose tea". Yup. That's exactly it. I was at a tea place and felt like crap and that one seemed to say it had all these benefits if you feel like crap, so I bought it. It was pretty good.

I had the acid reflux/heartburn again. I hate it :(. Why is this happening to me now that I'm actually healthier? Ugh. I gave in and thankfully I was with friends so we went and got me some drugs. I don't do medicine... EVER. I got chewable "Gaviscon". It gets foamy if you don't swallow in fast enough. Anyway, took two, it did go away! YAY! But then it came back randomly at like 3 a.m for like 20 minutes. Strange.

Sunday

12:30 p.m: Leftover dinner from the night before.
Exercise (3:30 p.m): Ran almost 5k. I was wearing all black, it was sunny and really hot. I thought I was gonna pass out.

4:30 p.m: 2 boiled artichokes. They had garlic, lemon and olive oil as the dressing. Yum.

6:30 p.m: A red velvet cupcake

8:30 p.m: Falafel sandwich

10:45 p.m: A scoop of ice cream on a sugar cone

Fireworks. Canada Day. Awesome. It was down the street from my house so I loved every minute of it. Usually, I hate it because there's tons of people and I can never get home. This was awesome. Just walked home.

Too lazy to update Friday. It's Sunday as I write this. I pretty much ate all the stuff below for dinner and as I was making it. I had to sample. :)

Saturday I had a dinner party. Cooked everything from scracth. I think it was a success! :) Veggie meal for meat eaters. :)
