Exercise (7 a.m.): 45 min boot camp. Tough one.

1:30 p.m: Salad. Made it at the salad bar. Spinach, chickpeas, hard boiled egg, sunflower seeds, avocado, mushroom, greek dressing.

2:00 p.m: Bananer

8:00 p.m: Another late night at work. Sushi tonight.

Eating habits have sucked the last week. Must fix!

Dreams are creepy.
Yesterday I was watching "Frasier". Remember that show? Anyways, Frasier had a weird dream and the whole episode was him and his brother (Oh Niles!) trying to figure it out.
Well, I had a weird dream last night I proceeded to google its meaning twice last night. I also took screen shots so I wouldn't forget.
Too accurate and scary for me!

Dream # 1
I was being chased in my old neighborhood by my parents neighbour. He was zombie like and ended up shooting me in the head. Just like in the episode of Walking Dead last night.
First paragraph but no clue why it was my neighbour.
Dream # 2
I was swimming for my life.


8:00 a.m: Banana

I had a biscotti someone made some point in the morning. Probably like 10. I don't know.

12:30 p.m: Veggie burrito sucka.

7:00 p.m: Fresh. Late night at work. Mushroom onion burger with sweet potato fries. Mini Smarties and Kit Kat may have been laying around.

I decided I am enjoying life right now. Work during the week, good friends all week-end. I don't think I'd have it any different at 27.

Happy Friday!

7:00 a.m: Cereal with rice milk

I put my alarm on with the intention of working out this morning. Not gonna happen. If I stop boot camp, I'm never gonna work out again.

12:30 p.m: Veggie chilli, some toast. Half a brownie.

4:30 p.m: Some cheese with a cracker, chocolate covered almonds, a few chips... yea, Friday's at work.

7:00 p.m: Sushi. Ice cream after.

Exercise (9:30 p.m): 1 hour at gym

I'm considering joining a the 7 a.m. boot camp 5 days a week, Mon-Fri. Am I crazy? I need to get to this 30 pounds. It'll be a year in like, March. 1 year for 30 pounds? Come on now.

6:00 a.m: Banana

Exercise (7:00 a.m): 45 min boot camp

9:00 a.m: Had 3 (yes, 3) little mini muffins. Homemade that a co-worker brought in. Oatmeal, banana, chocolate chip, walnut... I think. Very good.

1:30 p.m: My stomach feels off today. I had tofu veggie something or other soup. Oh, with soba noodles.
7:30 p.m: Stir fry with just a bunch of veggies, quinoa, olive oil and hey, threw in some curry powder.

6:30 p.m: Went to Fresh for dinner with a friend. So good. Good veggie place.

12:30 p.m: I've been craving pizza allll week. Hey, I almost bought a pizza last night to myself but didn't. Anyways, Pizzaiolo. Can't go wrong. So good.
4:00 p.m: 2 "brownie" cookies. They're small. Bahhhh. What the hell was that? What am I, a lamb? I'm keeping it.

6:30 p.m: Mmm. Made a bunch of this stuff. The usual.
Exercise (8:45 p.m): 1 hour of gym.
I can't believe I still do this blog. It's been going on since March. You'd think I'd be over it. Nope, not til 30 pounds!!

1:00 p.m: Bit of greek yogurt

3:00 p.m: Falafel with hummus and tabouli. Coconut and hazelnut gelato. So good. I was at Vaughan Mills mall. Too many kids and families. Not my thing. I look very forward to being childless in the future, I won't lie.

7:00 p.m: Baby carrots and celery with some dip, broccoli with melted cheese over top and some olive oil.

9:30 p.m: Protein shake. Rice milk, frozen strawberries, protein powder.

Booooo, back to work on Monday. I am in no mood.

12:15 p.m: Had lunch. No breakfast. Leftovers from dinner last night. Pretty good the day after. It was just veggies with some glass noodles. It was some sort of mushroom sauce.
Is this a lot? Should I be eating less? I mean, it's all veggies and the glass noodles were actually not that much, just looks that way in the photo. I feel full, but not "I'm going to throw up" full. I am satisfied. I don't know.

5:00 p.m: Veggie bacon. The tomato, feta, quinoa concoction from the other day.

6:00 p.m: Protein shake. Makes for good desert. I was craving something tasty. It was just rice milk, strawberries and protein powder. This new powder my trainer got me is 'strawberry ice cream flavour'. So good! It makes my shake taste like ice cream. You know I love it!

I just watched the movie Thor. I went into it just being told by two women who's opinions I respect that it is "an ok movie but it's eye candy, Thor is hot"... AGREED. That man is hot. Very hot.

I cried during the final show for Regis Philbin. I felt like an idiot.

3:00 p.m: Giant salad. Produce goes bad way too fast, it's ridiculous. I used like everything I had. Arugula, red pepper, tomato, green onion, mushroom, zucchini, asparagus, broccoli, feta cheese, veggie bacon, olive oil, lemon juice, salt.
6:00 p.m: Early dinner. Went to Congee Wong. The usual.
I also just saw the latest Twilight movie. Yeah, so? Shut up. It was better than others. Less cheese, but don't worry, still had its fair share.

4:45 p.m: Small bit of cottage cheese 

6:00 p.m: Leftover from lunch

8:15 p.m: Waffle with ice cream. Shhh you.

1:00 p.m: Bit of "veggie" chips. Then, a strawberry banana smoothie. I was out.

3:30 p.m: Something from the parent's house. It's some veggie stuffed with like tomato and garlic or something.
5:30 p.m: Some raspberries 

Exercise (6:00 p.m): 1 hour at the gym

7:30 p.m: Stir fry with some veggie bacon. So good!
10:45 p.m: Kale, toasted in olive oil/salt

Sore. Really sore.
I might hit up the hot tub this morning after working out. I obviously am skipping boot camp this week. As if I'll will wake up at 5:30 a.m. just to go a boot camp and come back home. Hmph!

9:00 a.m: Oatmeal with flax seed, cinnamon, protein powder, banana, water.

Exercise (11:30 a.m): 1 hour at the gym. Then took a dip in the pool and hot tub. Yeaaaaa. Felt good. This is how every day should be like. About to prepare myself a nice lunch then get ready to go see a free movie. Woohoo! Good day. I shall review and speak of the free movie later.

1:30 p.m: Salad. Arugula, red pepper, tomato, green onion, parmesan cheese, sauteed some mushrooms/zucchini/asparagus in butter then mixed it all up in olive oil and lemon juice. Mmmm. I also had some raspberries afterwards. 
4:30 p.m: Early dinner. I have plans that go through dinner so had too. So! I tried veggie bacon, a.k.a tempeh. Good!! Win. I shall buy more. It's apparently vegan and not so bad in the calories and fat. Bacon cravings - gone. Now to find a beef replacement. I miss beef. Also had some broccoli and green beans with butter on the side.
10:00 p.m: Some form of squash soup at the parent's house.

I saw a 'test screening' of this movie called Take this Waltz tonight. Seth Rogen = my crush.

Day one of staycation! Yea!

Exercise (8:00 a.m): Protein bar pre workout. 1 hour with trainer.

10:00 a.m: Went grocery shopping for the week. Had some of this at the Loblaw's. Small container.
1:00 p.m: Hmm, pretty good. Stir fry. Broccoli, carrots, peas, corn, red pepper, mushroom, tofu, teriyaki sauce.
3:00 p.m: Small bit of cottage cheese

5:45 p.m: Leftovers from the lunch, added more broccoli for greeness! 

8:00 p.m: Went to a friend's house. We had fat, sugar free popsicles. Pretty good!

3:00 p.m (I think?):  Went to the parent's house for like 1 5minutes. I had some ravioli and soup I don't care to explain cause it's foreign to you.

5:00 p.m: Boston Pizza, pre movie. Salad. There's lettuce in there, I swear!
I saw Martha Marcy May Marlene. Intense movie. But artsy and had an ending that was a non ending. You know how these movies are. Had a KitKat during the movie.

Yea, I've lost some weight but not enough to still make me love shopping. Soo many things I would love to wear but can't cause it just doesn't work. Anyways, I went to the mall today. Bought a bunch of random things including the jacket below. I think I love it. I'm calling it my GaGa jacket.


10:00 a.m: 2 eggs scrambled in some butter.

Exercise (11:30 a.m): 1 hour at the gym. Good music will let you work through anything. Today's work out was brought to you by Stone Temple Pilots.

3:30 p.m: Went to the parent's house. Lipton chicken noodle soup with some crackers. Is there actually chicken in these? I guess it's stock. Meh. 

6:30 p.m: Falafel sandwich

8:00 p.m: Grilled cheese sandwich, banana

Ok so I was supposed to get weighed again in two week after 'no carbs' but I did 9 days.

I lost 2 lbs!! WTF.


I am now in a bracket of #'s I've never seen in my adult life so I am excited and motivated. I'm still not at even 20 lb loss, 18.2... close!!

Whatever, I'm still going for 30. So you'll be stuck with the blog til then! :)


5:30 a.m: Protein shake. Rice milk, water, strawberry, banana, protein powder. Blend!

Exercise (7 a.m.): 1 hour with trainer. I feel I killed it. haha.

9:00 a.m: Snacking on baby carrots til lunch.

12:00 p.m: Haven't had Manchu Wok in yearrrrrrs.
2:15 p.m: Brownie cookie. Yup.

4:30 p.m: Chocolate covered almonds, chips. Fridays. Work. Bad.

Vacation is on!! I have next week. Let the laziness begin.

12:15 p.m: Mushroom soup and veggie wrap from good ol' Ravi Soups.

2:45 p.m: Mini donuts from Little Nicky's. Fail!

6:30 p.m: 2 scrambled eggs with butter, onion, feta cheese. Baked beans in tomato sauce.
9:00 p.m: Kale toasted with olive oil, salt. I hate that my grocery store is hit or miss with kale. Sometimes it's super old and others fresh. No consistency! I want it all the time damnit.

10:30 a.m: Small thingie of greek yogurt

12:30 p.m: Veggie chilli with cheese

3:00 p.m: Junk! Some sugar free chocolate covered almond things, chocolate covered pretzels, and some "veggie" chips. Small portions, I swear!

Exercise (5:15 p.m): 45 mins at gym. I was in mid push up when a co-worker walked in and said there was an emergency at work and I was needed. That's what happens when your gym is next door to your work, and you tell people you work out Wednesday nights. Bah! Anyways, problem was solved. As the co-worker who got me would say, handled it like a bauss. haha.

8:00 p.m: Salad. Damning good. Arugula, red pepper, tomato, asparagus, quinoa, feta cheese, onion, olive oil, lemon, salt.

9:00 p.m: I have been introduced to dragonfruit and love it. Ok, fine, I just think I love the colours. So I took photos :) I ate half.
Exercise (10:00 p.m): 40 mins on the treadmill.

2:15 p.m: I had a free coupon for Starbucks, ok? Shut up. Small double chocolate chip frappuccino thing. Good.

6:30 p.m: Banana while I was preparing food. Asparagus and mushrooms pan fried in some butter, Salad with arugula, feta cheese, onion, tomato, red pepper, olive oil, lemon.
9:00 p.m: Toasted some kale with olive oil, salt. So F-ing good. Also ended up eating a small bit of cottage cheese.

Back to work. Shit had hit the fan the two days I left. I don't understand!

12:30 p.m: No carb lunch success!! Spinach, some veggies, egg, avocado, parmesan, greek dressing.
6:45 p.m: Small thingy of cottage cheese. Um, yes, this is the first time I tried it. So good! Where have you been all my life?

7:45 p.m:  Turned out quite delicious. Salad. Arugula, red pepper, tomato, feta cheese, onion, quinoa, green beans, mushroom, olive oil, lemon juice, salt. No photo.

No carbs and every meal had a source of protein and veggie. Go me!

I went to bed at 5 p.m. last night woke up today at noon.

1:00 p.m: Protein shake. Rice milk, water, protein powder, strawberries, banana

Exercise (2:00 p.m.): 1 hour cardio

5:15 p.m: 2 eggs, scrambled with some butter. Boooooring. No carbs after breakfast! Just as well. It's not like I had anything else in the fridge.

7:00 p.m: Go carbs! I had to go to my parent's house cause I am borrowing the car. They had nothing but carbs for dinner. Rice and potatoes. Booooooo!
9:00 p.m: Went downtown for a b-day at The Rivoli. I never venture downtown unless it is for work. Cool place. Nibbled on some nachos with sour cream and salsa.

I bolted at 12:30 cause I'm an old, cranky person.

Still at this Flash course. We're doing 'coding'. Omagad. I'm confused but processing it slowly. Lot to learn!

8:00 a.m: Cereal and rice milk. Nothing else in the house.

10:00 a.m: Mini kit kat, Aero and a white chocolate macademia cookie. They lay it out here, how do you say no!?! Fail once again. But it makes me happy...

12:30 p.m: Same as yesterday. I'm in the hood so I went to my new fave place, Karine's. Food was just as delicious!

At a course learning "Flash". Interesting stuff. I remember how much I hate school.

7:30 a.m: Cereal with rice milk.

12:15 p.m: OMG DELICIOUS FIND! I thank a friend for introducing me to do it but this place called Karine's near the class I am taking. Amazing. It's run by these tattooed Armenian women. WHAT!?! Armenian people aren't like that so it was kinda awesome. I loved it. Anyways, I got fatoush... and it was done right!! No one can rival my mom's fatoush to me so the fact that I liked this just as much was badass. Anyways, I really wish it was closer. I'm gonna need to take some lunch trips over.
Under it all was the salad. I didn't end up eating any of the stuff on top!
Exercise (6:30 p.m): 30 mins on treadmill in the condo gym. This girl from Degrassi was on the treadmill next to me. It was funny. I wanted to be all "I totally watch Degrassi!" but I shut up.

8:30 p.m: Went to a pub for a friend's b-day. Had a spinach and grilled veggie salad with goat cheese. It was actually reallllly good. Also split half a brownie with a friend.

So, I got weighed and measured again this morning. Boooooooooo!

I was EXACTLY the same as 2 months ago. WTF. Ok so maybe I lost like 1% body fat but still, the scale was the same to the decimal. FAIL!

I don't know. I mean, at least it didn't go up but still. It's strange though cause I feel way more muscle these days than before so I figure that has a lot to do with it. Meh.

Anyways, my trainer has now put me on 'no carbs except at breakfast' for 2 weeks and then I'm getting measured again. She thinks I may have plateaued I guess cause I've been doing the same thing now for a while. Soooo this is gonna be tough. Everything is a carb. We'll see how it goes...

Sorry, no new news to report! Off too google no carb recipes.

7:45 p.m: Ok, soooo no lunch today. Busy day at work. Somehow, I managed not to die of starvation. Anyways, this is scrambled eggs and a blend of quinoa, goat cheese, tomato, olive oil, lemon, salt. It'll do.

10:00 p.m: Yea, super late night at work. I didn't eat. Well, lies. There are still Halloween mini chocolates around and I had a few. So much for no sugar! Whatever. No dinner.
Measurements tomorrow morning. I'm not gonna lie, I don't have high hopes.
