I have an odd feeling about today. Always that way the day before a long weekend. Someone is going to dump work on me at the last second that's 'urgent'. Lies.

8:00 a.m: Banana

9:00 a.m: Fibre bar. Loving these. Need to get more.

12:30 p.m: Veggie sandwich on whole wheat bread. It was ok. Had like tomato, lettuce, avocado, hummus, cucumber. Yup. Also had this Nutella croissant thing. Failed, but it was delicious.

7:30 p.m: 2 hard boiled eggs and brussel sprouts. I know it sounds boring but I seem to love this.

I didn't exercise. Ughhhhhhh.

9:30 a.m: Fibre bar, some chocolate covered walnuts mishkebob made. So F-ing good.

12:30 p.m: Salad. Same as last night. Arugula, goat cheese, tomato, TVP, olive oil, salt. Kinda shitty but I ate it. Had a few chips after. This is what I do.
7:00 p.m: Chinese food, ok? Then ice cream. Get overrrrr it.

1:00 p.m: Veggie Thai curry with brown rice.

4:00 p.m: Grapes

5:00 p.m: Fibre bar

Exercise (6:00 p.m): 1 hr with the trainer. Sweat. Pouring. Sore all over. Back at it tomorrow!

8:00 p.m: Salad. Arugula, spinach, tomato, goat cheese, TVP, lemon, olive oil, salt. Boiled brussel sprouts. Also had a few pieces of Melba toast with almond butter.

It's 11:30 a.m as I write this part. how am I not starving to death yet? I mean, I'm hungry. But still.

12:30 p.m: Veggie frittata and salad. Bread on the side.

Hersheys kisses were had. As usual.

7:00 p.m: Fibre hippie bar

Exercise (7:30 p.m): 1 hr boot camp. Love it. I'm sad Wednesday is the last one. I didn't sign up for next month. I decided to go back to my old morning boot camp for July. I miss the friends I made there. There is also a new instructor now who I'm told is a killer. I look forward to it for July. If I don't love it, I'll sign back up to this current one. Either way, I feel good and kicking ass at the gym.

9:00 p.m: Protein drink.

10:15 p.m: Damn late dinners. I had 2 hard boiled eggs and boiled brussel sprouts. Salt over it all. Why am I obsessed with brussel sprouts right now? Can't get enough.

11:00 p.m: Super late night snack. I couldn't help it!! Almond butter with Melba toast.

12:30 p.m: Mushrooms and tempeh fried in coconut oil, 2 hard boiled eggs, boiled brussel sprouts.
Exercise (4:00 p.m): 1 hr at the gym. Mix of cardio and weights.

5:15 p.m: Protein. Coconut milk, ice protein powder.

7:00 p.m: Apple. Almond butter with melba toast.

9:30 p.m: Bubble tea with the crew. I had chocolate toast (yum!) and a chocolate 'smoothie'. Who knows what was in it... all I know is it had sugar fo sho.


Stuff. Lazed all day.

I was supposed to meet my trainer this morning but I bailed. :( I barely got any sleep and was exhausted. Boooooo.

9:00 p.m: Made potato salad. Potato, avocado, parsley, garlic, green onion, lemon, olive oil, salt.

1:15 p.m: Vegan lunch. It was pretty good. Brown rice, bok choy, soy protein meat thing in mushroom sauce. Had a mushroom soup too.

6:30 p.m: Hawaiin donut. Oh yea. Been a long time since I've had one of these.

8:30 p.m: At a pub. Had a veggie burger and sweet potato fries.

Felt like a fat ass all day. Stayed up way too late for a Thursday. But it was a good time.

"Hey, you ladies ok for drinks? Cause I can get you those you know". Hah.

1:15 p.m: All Star salad from Fresh with tahini dressing. Loads of veggies and quinoa. Yup. Full. Wait, I had chips too.

Boot camp is planned to be held outdoors tonight. I don't know how I feel about that. It's the hottest day... ever. I will die. I hope it's cancelled and stays indoors.

Exercise (7:30 p.m): yup, boot camp was outside. 1 hour. It wasn't as bad as I thought. We were closer to the lake so there was some breeze. I managed.

8:45 p.m: Protein drink

10:00 p.m: Late dinner, once again. Salad. Arugula, tomato, red pepper, green onion, goat cheese, mushrooms, olive oil, lemon juice, salt.

So I wore the outfit below yesterday. No lie - there were like at least 10 different people who were saying "Oh, what a great blazer!" "What a great colour!". It was weird. Randoms, not even people I knew.
I went to a falafel place to get dinner and the guys serving me were being extra nice. The one guy goes "I've never liked that colour but now I do". Then the other guy was all "Have anything you want!" WTF!?!

Had some chips in the afternoon.

6:30 p.m: Middle eastern food. I ate half that plate though. Very filling.
9:30 p.m: Protein shake. Coconut milk, berries, protein powder.

This morning feels good. I don't feel overworked today and I would like to be stress free.
Decided I may take a trip to New York in August. I have a week off and F it, I wanna enjoy it. Just thinking I'll go alone for a few days and shop it up. After all, I'm gonna be ripped by that point right?

8:00 a.m: Few almonds

9:30 a.m: Fried egg and cheese English muffin.

1:15 p.m: Thai veggie curry with tofu and brown rice. I'm really into this right now. I'll get over it. It seems pretty healthy but I don't know what they use in the base. It's a vegan place so it's not cream or milk. Ingredients say coconut milk. That's it?? Cause if all they used is coconut milk and curry powder.... that's awesome that it can taste this good.

3:00 p.m: Had some BBQ chips and a few Hersheys kisses.

Pretty sure I've lost a few pounds. I'm gonna try and get weighed tomorrow morning and see. These chips just now didn't help.

Exercise (7:30 p.m): 1 hr boot camp. Was held outside at Trinity Bellwoods park. Holy hipster central!! Anyway, it was good. A lot of hills and running from dogs. hah.

9:15 p.m: Had a protein drink after.

10:30 p.m: 1 hard boiled egg.

I put my alarm on to work out this morning, didn't happen. Showered, got ready, just as I was about to get out the door my trainer texted me and said she had an opening at 6 p.m. YES! In! Hopefully work doesn't F me over and I get to go.

7:30 a.m: 2 hard boiled eggs

9:00 a.m: Grapes

12:45 p.m: Ravi soups. nom nom. Butternut squash soup and veggie wrap. As delicious as they are, I feel it is all secretly fatty.

Gym got cancelled. Just as well, worked a bit late.

8:00 p.m: Spoonful of my homemade Nutella. Almonds. Boiled brussel sprouts with some cheese and salt. So good. The groceries are coming to an end, can you tell?
Exercise (10:00 p.m): Did some floor exercises. I managed to do 36 push ups (the man way!!) in 1 minute. WHAT!! New record. Yea! Pumped for boot camp tomorrow night.

Last week I really must have been stressed because combined with my crazy working out, I got my lady curse a week early. A week! New for me. Google says that happens. Anyway, that's why I haven't worked out in two days. Back at it tonight!

1:00 p.m: Veggie curry with brown rice. Lentil soup. All organic from the hippie vegan place.

I had like tons of Hershey's almond kisses all afternoon. Time for gym.

I switched my gym class to 7:30. Working out better for me. Late nights at work and I feel like I'm getting shit done after 5.

Exercise (7:30 p.m): 1 hour boot camp. Another sweaty mess of a work out. Good stuff. Loving it.

9:00 p.m: Protein drink. 30g per servings suckers.

11:00 p.m: 2 hard boiled eggs

Decided I'm not going to work out today. I'm in a lot of pain. Very sore. 

1:30 p.m: Salad. Arugula, red pepper, broccoli, almonds, 1/2 avocado, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, goat cheese. Had with a cup of fruit juice.

Went to Medieval Times. Fun. Fun nerdy knights, hah. Food was pretty good. Tomato soup, garlic bread, rice, veggies and hummus. Apple pie thing for dessert.

Exercise (7:30 p.m): 1 hour boot camp. Was intense.... as usual. Twice we had to run the block and it sucked to be running on King St (bar and entertainment district for anyone who reads this that may not know) and be amongst crowds of people going out. People were on patios, in the park, with friend's... man!

9:30 p.m: I ended up meeting up with people after class. I felt like shit the whole time cause I was tired and felt stinky. But it was nice to see them. Ended up having quesadila's again.

Lade of Leisure

I just saw a short clip of the movie Space Jam. It took me back.
Back to a time where I was stress free and had no responsibilities. When do I grow up and become a working woman? A long time ago. I know. Sometimes I long for those simpler days. How can I get myself stress free? Oh yes. Just find someone rich to marry and become a lady of leisure. Spend all day working out, getting manicures, facials, shopping and eating lunch out with friends. Must be nice. Could I do? Fuck yea. I'd spend my free time volunteering, just like they do. That way I feel like I'm not completely useless.
Lady of leisure - life goal? hah.

If you google 'lady of leisure'... this comes up. I could get used to that.


Crazy times at work. It'll calm down. It always does.

9:30 a.m: Grapes

12:30 p.m: There was free pizza at work. Had it. 3 slices of veggie.

4:30 p.m: Apple with my home made Nutella.

Exercise (7:30 p.m): 1 hour boot camp. Second day. I have never ever sweat like I am in this class. Like I look like I am in the shower. Love it though. Today I tried boxing... pretty fun! Loving this class so far.

8:45 p.m: Protein drink

10:00 p.m: Late dinner. Sucks. I should have just not eaten but I think I actually need the calroies after that workout. Salad with arugula, 1/2 an avocado, almonds, tomato, red pepper, goat cheese, olive oil, lemon, salt.

This morning I was summoned to jury duty.
I got out of it though cause F, busy at work. But it's been rescheduled until end of November. Ain't no way I can get away with taking this whole week off. Anyway, it was boring for the four hours I was there.

7:30 a.m: Protein shake. Coconut milk, frozen berries, protein powder.

9:30 a.m: Few baby carrots.

11:30 a.m:  I was near Karine's. My Fave ever place to eat and I wish it was closer. So anytime I am nearby I take advantage. See below. DELICIOUS! Tastes just like mama's fatoush.
1:45 p.m: Grapes

Have had exactly 6 Hersheys almond kisses today throughout the afternoon. They are at the reception desk. It's deadly when they're there! They're little bits of heaven with every bite.

Exercise (6:15 p.m): Started a new boot camp today. OMG. I was dripping with sweat, but it was good. Very 'every woman for yourself'. You get a set of things to do in the hour and you do them all as many times as you can over and over. Most people get through it twice. Man, killer. I went up 12 flights of stairs, twice. Died. Anyway, good stuff. Too many women for my liking (lots of squaking, hah) I like small groups but i'll live. Tues-Fri of this for the week. Then Mon/Wed from then on. June here I come!

8:45 p.m: Salad. Arugula, almonds, tomato, red pepper, goat cheese, green onion, lemon juice, olive oil, salt. Delicious. Was needed. Nothing feels better than a good meal after a good workout.

Exercise (11:00 am): Spent 45 mins at the gym

1:00 p.m: Homemade tabouli. Spaghetti squash with cheddar cheese. Way too much cheese. Regrets.
3:00 p.m: Cup of fruit juice.

Exercise (6:30 p.m): Double exercise day! 5km run. 38 mins. The usual.

8:15 p.m: Veggies with home made hummus. Mushrooms fried in vegan butter.

Yup. It's Saturday. June 2. JUNE.
On Monday I start my month of insane work out. I know I've said that before but when I said it before, I never had any commitments. So I could cancel anytime. Well, this time I've signed up for a new boot camp and bought more sessions with my trainer. I plan to use it all in June. It's been over a year since I started this and I've made little headway in my mind. I got to a point recently where I actually considered liposuction. That's when I was like omg, stop. Get back on it.

1:30 p.m: Cottage cheese.

Took a huge afternoon nap. So good. What a lazy day.

6:00 p.m: Protein drink.

8:30 p.m: Salad with arugula, tomato, almonds, green onion, olive oil and lemon juice. The other thing was supposed to be more casserole like but ya. Very simple. Broccoli, cauliflower, mushrooms, cottage cheese, cheddar cheese, 1 egg.
 Too much cheese today.

Exercise (10:15 p.m): Went to the gym in my building. It was ok.

Can't wait for crazy gym schedule to start on Monday.

All I know is yesterday sucked.
Woke up on time, left late. Straightened my hair, by the time I got into work it was curly. Rain/wind/shit umbrella. I felt uncomfortable all day and into the night. One of those days.
