Wednesday.

7:15 a.m: Protein shake. Rice milk, protein powder, banana, strawberry.

I've been snacking on chocolate covered almonds throughout the morning. Curse you work. I hid the bag so I wouldn't go for more. Out of sight, out of mind.

12:30 p.m: Leftover from last night's dinner

6:45 p.m: Protein bar.

I've been working late like every F-in day. I'm sick of it and my body hurts. What happened to working out? This is why people get fat. Work fucks them over. Anyways, should die down. One more day and I'm on 4 day week-end mode.

8:00 p.m: I'm predictable. I make the same shit over and over with different variations. It's not til I have started blogging that I realised that. I guess that's what this was for.
2 scrambled eggs with butter, green onion, corn. Fried zucchini, beans.
Protein, veggie, grains! Food group success.

Tuesday.

Over today. Over tomorrow. Over Thursday. Please come faster Friday.
I'll be gone to Niagara all week-end doing nothing. I can't wait.

9:00 a.m: Oatmeal with flax seed, protein powder, cinnamon, banana, water.

1:00 p.m: Made my own salad. Spinach, chickpeas, egg, avocado, broccoli, sunflower seeds, greek dressing.
4:00 p.m: I was having a protein bar but a co-worker plopped some home made cheesecake on my desk. I ate it. It was amazing.

7:45 p.m: Yum. So basically all this was in a pan. Tomato, broccoli, carrot, corn, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, green onion, zucchini, quinoa. Ended up soupy but it was good.

Oh, I signed up for another 3 months of boot camp. Ugh. Tues/Thurs, 5:30 a.m. wake up call. I'm gonna die. I haven't worked out in since last Friday. OH GOD.

9:00 p.m: Kale toasted with olive oil, salt. So good. Great snack.

I have a problem.

This is what happens when you can walk into a clothing store and things actually fit you.
It's going to be even worse when things fit me even better. Shit.
Whatever, I needed a new wardrobe! Don't judge.

Monday.

7:30 a.m: Bran cereal, flax seed and rice milk. Getting repetitive. Need to go grocery shopping, badly.

12:30 p.m: An array of middle eastern salads and some falafel. One of those combo's.

3:00 p.m: Protein bar. It's been bad having a supply of these in my desk. I keep going for it as my afternoon snack.
8:00 p.m: Veggies fried in olive oil, greek yogurt, potato.
Is this a lot of food? yes. I probably should've had half. But it's almost all veggie!

Sunday.

At work. Boooooo.
I noticed when I am stressed with work my hair falls out. There, too much information. Well, it's happening again. Must get it under control.

11:00 a.m: Bran cereal with flax seed, rice milk.

Lunch, you will be expensed to work. If I have to come in on a Sunday, you're paying for it.

1:30 p.m: Veggie burrito. I'm on a roll.

4:00 p.m: Sushi.

7:00 p.m: Small chocolate ice cream cone.

10:00 p.m: A bit of beans in tomato sauce. From a can.

Ok, Monday. Back to normal.

Saturday.

Hmm, writing this the day after so to recap... let's see. It won't be pretty.

12:00 p.m: Banana

3:00 p.m: Some home made hummus on pita bread.

4:00 p.m and onward: I went to a friend's BBQ. She has a fire pit too so it's like camping but nice cause you can go inside and use a clean bathroom, and escape to your car if needed. Good times.

Food: Let's see. Cookies, chips, veggie burger, salad, ice cream cake. Ummm, that's it? Sounds like a normal day for me before I cared about health. I regret it, of course.

Oh, Friday. I love you.

6:30 a.m: Cereal with rice milk. Banana.

Exercise (7:00 a.m): 1 hour with trainer. Killed the legs! Paiiiiiin. I needed it though. Last two days have been all work, no exercise.

8:45 a.m: Protein bar.

12:45 p.m: Indian buffett. I was prepared for this and knew I was going to do it. I feel ok. Just gotta watch it for the rest of the night.

 5:00 p.m: Another late-sh night at work so I snacked on garbage. Popcorn, chips and chocolate covered almonds.

9:00 p.m: Went to Yuk Yuk's with friends. Sweet potato fries.

Thursday.

This morning I went to open my fridge and the door came off. Off to a good start! I managed to somehow get it back on, but once I open it again it will fall right off.

9:30 a.m: Avocado smushed around with a few crackers. So good!
Always looks so huge but it's a small plate, I swear!
12:45 p.m: Grosse salad. Something weird about the arugula. Had it with tomato, goat cheese and balsamic dressing. Did not enjoy.

You want a play by play of today so far? Ok. I want to punch people in the face right now. No one specific - just people. I want to go on vacation for like 2 months and say "Hey, everyone, figure everything out and get it done in 10 minutes with the half assed info I give you". That's my work life.

5:00 p.m: Protein bar

Soo, one of those shity work days. I left work at 9. Ugh. If you knew what it was for, you'd laugh. Let me just tell you then. You know at the end of car commercials there is like 10 seconds of a shot of the car and the price with all this legal you can't read? Yea. We've been fussing over that for 2 weeks. It's recording tomorrow, so of course, at the last minute... everyone changes everything. People know no one reads these right? That having a little more space between those 2 numbers is making no difference on TV? Yea, I'm bitter. So what? You work in advertising. Everyone drinks 90% of the time to handle it. I need to get on that.

9:30 p.m: Had a friggin veggie burrito. Shut up.

I can't get into my fridge without the door coming off. Great. I don't think that'll get fixed til like Sunday. Fabulous.

Wednesday.

I want everything, and I want it now. That's the attitude at work today. Towards me though. I never ask for everything now.

7:15 a.m: Protein shake. Rice milk, water, strawberry, banana, protein powder.

12:30 p.m: Went to Alice Fazooli's for a paid for lunch. Good times. I would've taken photo's but it was only a few people and I would've looked weird. I didn't feel like explaining why I was doing it. Anyways, I had bruscetta to start and then ceaser salad and a panini with asparagus, goat cheese, mushroom and I'm sure butter or something fatty. It was good.

5:30 p.m: Protein bar

7:30 p.m: 2 hard boiled eggs (didn't cook long enough though), fried zucchini, beans in tomato sauce.
I wanna work out but I'm scared of this tornado watch. Rain scares the shit out of me. My gym is all window's.

Tuesday.

7:30 a.m: Fibre cereal, flaxseed, rice milk.

I'm in sore muscle pain. That's what happens when you tell your trainer you don't get sore anymore, she ups your weights. I've graduated (finally...) from the 10 pounders to 12 and 15's. It took forever. But, I feel it, big time...

9:15 a.m: That's why a protein bar is in order.

12:00 p.m: Leftover tabouli thing from last night. But, I had added zucchini and red pepper to it to fill it more. I also had more than I should've of cheese and crackers that were in the kitchen.

 5:00 p.m: Apple

Exercise (5:45 p.m): 1 hour at the gym.

7:30 p.m: Protein shake while I made dinner. Protein powder, rice milk, strawberry, banana.

8:00 p.m: Potato salad. Too much garlic.
Potato, coriander, garlic, green onion, parsley, lemon juice, olive oil, S&P
Exercise (9:30 p.m): Again. 30 mins on treadmill. Sweating buckets here. 5 mins of it was actually running, rest was just walking fastly. Still. 200 calories lost (so it says...), I can handle that.

Monday.

Exercise (7:00 a.m.): 1 hour with trainer.

9:00 a.m: Oatmeal with cinnamon, protein powder, flax seed, water, banana. Cinnamon is great. It masks the strange flavour of my protein powder.

12:00 p.m: The usual salad. Arugula, goat cheese, TVP, red pepper, tomato. Also had some trail mix that was laying around.

7:00 p.m: First attempt at wheatberry salad... great success!! :) Call it a knock off of tabouli.

Wheatberry, parsley, coriander, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, green onion, sunflower seeds, S&P, tomato.

 8:30 p.m: Gotta love kale. So good and so good for you. I toasted it lightly in bit of olive oil/salt. Nice snack.
 Done.

Sunday.

10:30 a.m: Bran fiber cereal with flax seed and rice milk.

2:00 p.m ish: Went to the parents house and my God there was good food there. I loved it. Stuffed red pepper, tabouli and grilled zucchini. All from the garden! Well, mostly.
Ice cream!
I went to the mall with a friend. As soon as we got to the parking lot it rained like the end of the world was coming. I hate rain. It hailed and I felt like I was gonna die in that car.
6:00 p.m. ish: Went to Joey Don Mills again. Love the food there.
Shared lobster and goat cheese dip. Delicious.
Arugula, goat cheese, pecans, strawberry, avocado, quinoa.

Saturday

12:30 p.m: Scrambled 2 eggs with butter, frozen veggies, green onion. Fried some zucchini in olive oil.
5:30 p.m: Salad. Arugula, goat cheese, TVP, red pepper, green onion, fried zucchini, balsamic dressing.
Exercise (6:30 p.m): 45 mins in gym.

8:00 p.m: Banana

10:00 p.m: Scoop of cookies n cream ice cream at the parents house.

10:30 p.m - 2:30 a.m: Oh God. I went to a house party. There were some delicious finger foods there so I was basically snacking on that all night. Not healthy, but delicious. Awesome party too.

Friday.

Finally, week is over.

9:00 a.m: Oatmeal with flax seed, protein powder, cinnamon, water, banana. Screw you packaged oatmeal. I can make mine taste just as good without any of your extra sugar and things I can't pronounce! hmph!

12:00 pm: Leftover from last night's dinner. Except I had added arugula, corn and flax seed to fill it up a bit since I didn't leave too much leftover last night. ;)

2:00 p.m: Snacking on baby carrots. I hate them. No flavour. It needs dipping sauce of some sort. Ugh. It's healthy this way I suppose. Lord knows I'm gonna eat badly tonight I'm sure. Plans with friends.

2:30 p.m: Screw the carrots. I bought snacks :( Chocolate covered hazelnuts, pretzels, yogurt almonds. Nooooo.
Play by play updates today. Kinda bored at work.

4:30 p.m: Snacked on cheese, crackers, tortilla chips. Baaaaaaaad.

8:00 p.m. ish: Had sushi for dinner. mmm. Sushi Moto near Yonge/Sheppard is delicious. That is all.
10:00 p.m: So this old school looking but new diner place, I think it's called Johnny Rockets, anyways so they have 1/2 price ice cream. I got a double scoop for $1.50. WTF! Yum.
 
Good times were had at my place tonight. Lots of laughing. I enjoyed it.

Thursday.

12:00 p.m: Leftovers from last night. I took a photo again, though I guess there's no point. Meh, I took it so yea, I'm posting.
4:30 p.m: Protein bar

Exercise (5:00 pm): 45 min boot camp. Killer. My shirt was basically like 75% wet from sweat. Gross.

7:00 p.m: I love when random things in a pan turn out delicious. I loved this one. I had a plate full but made enough for lunch tomorrow too. So good. Ingredients were olive oil, garlic, green onion, zucchini, red pepper, tomato, coleslaw, asparagus, broccoli, macaroni.
If I had to criticize today's food choices, it would be that I've probably had too many carbs. But, otherwise healthy? I think.

4:30 p.m: Apple. Hmm, I've had a lot of fruits/veggies today.

Exercise (5:30 p.m): 1 hour with trainer. Killed it!

7:30 p.m: Boiled baby potatoes and had with greek yogurt, baked some asparagus, broccoli, coleslaw in olive oil, garlic, lemon. So good!

Tuesday.

I tried to wake up for gym this morning but slept in. I love my morning's too much. I'm gonna go after work. I swear.

9:00 a.m: Oatmeal with flax seed, cinnamon, protein powder, banana, water.

12:30 p.m: Salad. Lots of stuff. Spinach, chickpeas, broccoli, corn, tofu, hard boiled egg, avocado, sunflower seeds, greek dressing.
3:00 p.m: Went to this cool place called Little Nicky's with some co-workers. Very nice decor in there. They have these freshly made to order mini donuts covered in sugar and cinnamon. It's gold Jerry, gold! I had 6. Leave me alone!

5:00 p.m: Baby carrots.

6:45 p.m: Protein bar

8:15 p.m: Breakfast for dinner. 2 eggs mixed with butter, spinach, corn, green onion, goat cheese. Beans with tomato sauce on the side. Feels more like the main. That's a lot of beans! I am not ashamed. They were delicious.

6:30 p.m: Went for sushi with some friends. Un-planned. I was supposed to go to the gym. Hah.

Sunday.

Last day of vacation. Shitty. I think I'm going to do this again in October or something. I have 2 more weeks of vaca I can take. We'll see.

10:30 a.m: Bran flakes, flax seed, rice milk.

2:00 p.m: Stir fry with greek yogurt. Ingredients are just a whole bunch of veggies in olive oil, with quinoa.
Exercise (3:45 p.m): 30 mins on treadmill. Annoying boys working out together at the gym. I left.

6:00 p.m: Potato salad. Baby potatoes, cilantro, parsley, green onion, garlic, lemon juice, salt/pepper, olive oil. I pretty much have everything in olive oil don't I? meh.
I think it's time for some new recipes. I'm starting to make the same stuff all the time, and it's nothing special. I mean, it tastes good, but I'm just bored again. Must do some recipe googling.

I've decided not to work out again. I'm sick of it today. I've worked out for like 8 days straight or something. I need a break. Back at it tomorrow.

8:00 p.m: Ok, so I had the potato salad again. Sue me.

Saturday.

12:30 p.m: Apple

Exercise (1:00 p.m): 1 hour at the gym.

3:00 p.m: Baby carrots.





I was waiting to meet some friends at Yonge/Dundas and a lot happenned in like the 20 minutes I was there. First, there was some Indian event going on and there was the person to the right. Kinda cool. There was someone in there! Then, this couple got married and came with their entire bridal party and decided to take a picture in the middle of traffic right at Yonge & Dundas. It was badass. At every light where it was the all way cross they'd run to the middle of the street and pose. Very cool idea. I'd totally do it. Someone marry me just for the photo's, ok? Thanks.




6-8 p.m: I went to the Conscious Food Festival in Fort York. Pretty cool. Just a bunch of vendors selling their organic food. Some delicious stuff! I got $10 in tickets and bought the following! Seems like a lot but it's all small portions.
Potatoes, cheese, veggies... so good!
Spinach and goat cheese quiche. I had two.
Salad with hippie ingredients. Delicious.
Organic ice cream. AMAZING.
10:00 p.m: Went to a pub with friends. Had a plate of nacho's. Also had a couple bites of chocolate cake.

10:30 a.m: Corn flakes cereal with milk.

1:00 p.m: Went to a restaurant I'd never been too, Joey. I loved it. Had the salad below and I want moooooore. Candied pecans, goat cheese, quinoa, strawberries, avocado... so good!
Somewhere in here I had some home made chocolate cake. Twice.

5:00 p.m: Heaping scoop of cookies an cream ice cream!

7:00 p.m: 3 small artichokes. Boiled, and drizzled with lemon juice, olive oil and garlic. So good!

Exercise (9:30 p.m): 1 hour at the gym. Mix of cardio and weights. I haven't seen my trainer in I think like 2 weeks. I miss the gym! haha My condo gym is boring. Anyways, back to work on Monday and back to regular gym!

11:00 p.m: Avocado. I caved.

Thursday.

10:30 a.m: Cereal with rice milk. I bought bran flakes for the first time. I added flax seed to it as well. Let's just say that worked right away. Whoa. TMI? Who cares.

Went to Vaughan Mills with the fam. Bought too many clothes. In a way, it's awesome things fit me better. But, I can't afford to keep shopping.

1:30 p.m: Had a falafel medly from the food court.
 5:30 p.m: Had a small ice capp from Tim Horton's. Milk, no cream! Still full of sugar though...
7:00 p.m: Staying over at my parent's today. They had fatoush. My fave. It's a Lebanese salad that is delicious. Mostly because of the crunchy pita pieces in it. But few can make it as good as my mama's! haha
Exercise (9:30 and 11:00 p.m): Went on the treadmill for 30 mins at a time.

Wednesday.

I feel like it's already mid week and my vacation is slipping away. Noooooo!

11:00 a.m: Oatmeal, flax seed, protein powder, cinnamon, water, banana.

Exercise (12:45 p.m): Spent 1.5 hours at the gym. Apparently I can press 100 lbs. with my legs. Woohoo! Legs have muscled up, now the rest of me needs to catch up!

2:30 p.m: Made a quick potato salad. Ingredients are baby potatoes, parsley, green onion, garlic, coriander, lemon juice, olive oil, salt. Also fried some zucchini in olive oil. So good!
7:00 p.m: Went to Spring Rolls with a few friends. I cheated and it tasted great. I had the veggie chow mein and a fried banana with coconut ice cream.
It is as big as it looks.
Exercise (10 p.m.): So the food above made me feel like I should try to work some of it off. I went on the elliptical for 30 mins. 200 calories lost. I bet that's like just the ice cream, if I'm lucky.

Tuesday.

I don't know what to do today. Kinda just sitting. Had an early lunch cause there was nothing too breakfasty in the house. Thinking of going shopping, but I don't really want to spend money. It's also raining so outside is not going to happen. Hmmm. We'll see what the day brings.

11:00 a.m: Salad. Arugula, goat cheese, flax seed, TVP, red pepper, green onion.
2:15 p.m: Protein bar.

Exercise (2:45 p.m): Spent an hour and a bit at the gym. Worked my ass off! Felt good.

4:30 p.m: This turned out to be delicious. Ingredients were olive oil, garlic, green onion, corn, artichoke, red pepper, broccoli, mushroom, zucchini and quinoa. Portion control problem? So what, who cares. It was all veggies damnit.
9:00 p.m: Apple

First day of week off. Awesomeness.

10:30 a.m: Apple

Exercise (11:30 a.m): Spent a little over an hour working out.

1:30 p.m: Baby carrots. Grocery shopping later.

2:30 p.m: Mom brought over some macaroni and cheese. Homemade. Haven't had that in ages. Guilt is kicking in though. All cheese, oil and carb. Meh.

6:00 p.m: Falafel sandwich.

8:00 p.m: Went to my cousin's place. Had a banana and my favourite ever desert from IKEA. This almond cake. Drooling thinking about it.

10:30 p.m: Egg salad on whole wheat bread.
 No more food.
