Monday

- 1 hard boiled egg
- Greek yogurt, 11 almonds
- On plan lunch success! Finally found a way to make my meal delicious. Brown rice and beans, 2 cups of veggies seasoned with taco seasoning. Yum! In future, this will be good with avocados. Also downed 3 fish oil.
- 75g chickpeas, 75g sweet potato, 2 cups spinach

- Spent an hr at the gym. Half intense treadmill, half upper body weights. I realized I miss weights. Time to hit that up again during the home workouts. 
- 3 rice cakes, protein drink
- Cup of fruit and veggie juice

- Steel cut oats, blueberries, protein drink
- 100g black beans, 2 cups spinach fried in some water with taco seasoning. Delish! 8 almonds, 3 fish oil.
- 3/4 cup cottage cheese
- Shake. Rice milk, protein powder, strawberries, spinach. Tasteless. 3 fish oil.
- 10 almonds, 5 egg whites, asparagus and bok choy.
- Seaweed. This is a cheat. Not on plan.

Friday

- BREAKFAST TOO LARGE. UGGGH. So this is part of my meal plan and I have to follow exact measurements but I can't eat this much at 7:30 in the morning. At least not this much food that's not delicious. Anyway, I finished most of it. Scrambled egg whites + 1 whole egg, quinoa, blueberries.
- Greek yogurt and 11 almonds
- Brown rice and black beans, asparagus, mushroom and onion. There was a delicious looking and smelling plate of fries in front of me during lunch and somehow I managed to not have any. Small victories.
- I had a single piece of tiny chocolate, ok? It was from Soma. Worth it.
- 2 cups of spinach, microwaved sweet potato, chickpeas. 3 tsp of fish oil before. Don't hate it.
- 7 k run outside. Running to the Terminator 2 theme song equal parts terrifying and motivating.
- Protein drink, 3 rice cakes

- 1 rice cake, blueberries, protein drink
- This tasted better than it looked. I promise. Chickpeas, steamed spinach with fish oil, 8 almonds
- Greek yogurt
- Shake. Carton style coconut milk, ton of spinach, strawberries, protein powder.
- Scrambled egg whites, 10 almonds, bok choy and asparagus fried in a little bit of butter. Butter is not allowed. Need an alternate way to fry things that's allowed.

Day one of diet.

- 6 egg whites and 1 whole egg, scrambled. Blueberries. Missing: my oatmeal. Next time. I could only prep so much after last night.
- 11, count them, 11 almonds. Greek yogurt.
- Brown rice and black beans, asparagus and mushroom. No flavour, just boiled. Bah.
Chickpeas, sweet potato, greens. All just steamed. Salt n peppa. 
- 1 hr boot camp. Killed it.
- 3 rice cakes and protein drink
- Cottage cheese and 11 almonds

Tuesday

I got my nutritional plan today. Oh man. Today is my last 'free' day of foods I enjoy. Get ready for a LOT of repetition the next few months.

- 2 hard boiled eggs
- Salad. Spinach, tomato, feta cheese, quinoa, hemp hearts. Fried mushrooms, sweet potato and onion in coconut oil. Olive oil and balsamic mix dressing. Mix it all up.
- Spoonful of chocolate coconut yogurt.
- Snacking on sea weed all afternoon
- Ran 5.5k outside. Mostly uphill. Leg pain.
- KIT KAT. I decided this would be my last hurrah before my diet starts tomorrow. 
- More seaweed... 1 rice cake.

Wait til you see my meals tomorrow! Boring for the time being until I figure out nice ways to flavour them with spices. But whatever, it's what I have to eat to be the machine!

I'm in a mood this morning. How women live with their hair down I will never understand. Also, I'm wearing pants that are slightly too small on me. So, that's never comfortable. Everything is irritating. Go away.

- Snacking on sea weed
- Tabbouleh and sarma, home made.
- Handful of salted almonds
- Carrots with some ranch dip
- Egg salad sandwich
- 1 hr boxing training
- Protein drink. 30g. 
- A little bit of leftover tabbouleh, some feta cheese.

Made lunch for tomorrow. Feels good to pre prep.

Ah, the Fall breeze. Love.

- 5.2k run outside. Legs were sore, was a bit rough.
- 1 rice cake with almond butter, cinnamon, honey and coconut flakes.
- Foreign food. Sarma, veggie burger, hummus, grilled eggplant, zucchini and mushroom. Not seen: Taboulleh.
- Scoop of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream from Baskin Robbins.
- Snacked on seaweed

- Tomato with feta cheese, hemp hearts, and olive oil. 2 scrambled eggs with onion, mushroom, spinach and butter. 
- A bunch of body weight floor exercises 
- Salad. Pan fried mushrooms, onion and sweet potato in coconut oil. Mixed in with spinach, tomato, feta cheese and quinoa. Lemon and olive oil dressing.
- Shake. Carton style coconut milk, protein powder, fibre powder, strawberry, banana, ice
- Stove top popcorn

Friday

Not the best day. 

- Falafel plate. Only ate 2 Falafels though.
 - random mix from grocery store. That's a small container, FYI. 
- 30 min intense interval run on the treadmill. 
- Some carrots with hummus

- 1 hr outdoor boot camp. You know what's gross? Having to lay on your back on a muddy grass floor of a park. I'm sure it was filled with dog piss.
- Protein shake. Coconut milk, strawberry, banana, protein powder.

- Made this. All this in a pan then avocado over it. Coconut oil, onion, brocolli, beans, corn, green peas, carrot, canned tomato, coconut milk, curry powder.

Agency Wars

Well, I may as well announce it on here. Even though anyone who even maybe reads this already knows.

I made it into Agency Wars again. This time, as a fighter. So I get to really fight. Don't know who I am fighting yet but am impatiently waiting to find that out. Also, I was interviewed by a magazine post workout so watch out for a super awkward video to come soon.

In the meantime, here we gooooooo.

- Salad. Greens, feta cheese, strawberries, quinoa, dates, avocado, onion, balsamic dressing.
- Banana.
- Handful of salted almonds.
- Chia seeds with almond milk, honey, cocoa powder and raspberries.
- 5.5k run outside. Good stuff. Ideal run weather.
- 2 hard boiled eggs, boiled veggies. Nutritional yeast over it.

Today was a perfect no fail day. I wish every day was like this.

- Spent a good half hour sparring with a friend. No helmet. No mouth guard. Condo party room, ghetto styles. I got a few good hits but it was good practice to fight with someone completely new and not used to my ways. It forced me to change it up. Long story short, it was worth it.

Single and Childless FTW

I feel like ranting.

I've been feeling really bad lately about my single and childless status. Only for my parents. I am perfectly comfortable single, and with no need whatsoever to have kids now or ever. But I think this is sorta upsetting my parents. My cousin just had a baby. It's all my family can talk about. The look they have in their eyes and the happiness when she's around is something I've never seen in my family. My mom just itches to go see the baby. I feel bad that I'll never be able to give that to her. Let's even step back from babies and even talk marriage. I don't want to get married. You couldn't pay me to walk down an aisle in an overpriced dress in front of hundreds of people who are judging me. You couldn't pay me to commit to one guy for the rest of my life. Frankly, you couldn't even pay me to date. Some people just prefer their own company. The thought of someone always being there is fucking annoying. Don't touch my stuff, don't touch me, and leave me alone. Stop asking me how I feel all the time. Stop wanting to do things for me. LEAVE ME ALONE. I don't need to be your 'there for you' person until you find something better and move along. Cause let me tell you, I will find something better and move along. This is what happens when you are a robot like me. So, back to my parents, I feel bad that I am not a normal human being. I wish I was. I'm not.

I don't want this to turn into a stupid, shitty, typical blog post from some angsty sounding teenager. I'm not that. I'm 29 and I know what I want. I just feel bad that i'll be letting down my parents by not being what they wanted me to be. Isn't it crazy that as a grown woman I can still let family affect me like this? I could've just as well wrote this post when I was 17 or something.

Anyways. Just thoughts for the world to read. Take it or leave it.

- Salad with lots of stuff. A grilled veggie sandwich and some tuna salad. FULL.

- Went out for breakfast. Feta cheese and spinach omelette, potato wedges, 1 pancake with syrup
- Cousin's house. Avocado and corn salad, bean salad, grilles eggplant and zucchini, piece of fruit custard type cake, cookie.
- Nachos. Real shitty home made style nachos.

- Friday afternoons at work. Chips were had.
- 5k run outside. First ever night run. AMAZING. killed it and made my best time ever. I was in a really shitty mood. It helped. A little bit of metal music to run too ain't so bad either. :)

- Smoothie. Almond milk, vanilla, dates, coconut 
- Small ceaser salad that was vegan. No clue what it was all made of but the guy kept insisting how good for you it was. Also, it was freaking delicious. So going back to this place.
