Not sure what's going on with blogger but yesterday has disappeared and this site's been glitchy last day or so. Soooo I'll just do today...
7:30 a.m.: Granola cereal with rice milk.
11 a.m.: Fail! I had half the cupcake below. It was sugar overload.
12:30 p.m: Ok more fail. I went to an Indian restaurant. As per usual, delicious at the time, but I feel like throwing up now. Bah! Gotta work out tonight. All I had was butter chicken with naan bread, rice and yogurt. Fatty deliciousness.
Planning on ditching the Friday 4:30 "meeting" today so I don't indulge in all the snacks and ruin this day more. Plus, I gotta go grocery shopping big time.
Got home at like 5:30 and took a nap til 8, hah!
Exercise (9 p.m.): 30 mins on treadmill and about 15 on weights. Good sweat going cause the AC was off haha I also was going extra fast on the treadmill cause I was really feeling Alanis Morissette's "You Oughta Know" :) Good song.
10 p.m.: Having dinner. I haven't eaten since lunch! Yikes. That's what Indian food will do to you. Just having a protein shake. Blended frozen strawberries, half a banana, water and protein powder. It tastes better with my rice milk but I could use less calories since I had so much today at lunch.
Can you tell I feel guilt about lunch? Bah.
I was on a mission to lose 30 pounds. I did it, then I gained most of it back. Been blogging everything I've eaten and all exercise since early 2011. I only drink water, no soda, coffee or alcohol. Female, 29, Toronto. Current thing: Back to losing weight.

It's pretty much the week-end.
Almost Friday. Let's do this. No plans but I could care less. Well wait, I invited my family over for dinner on Saturday... so my goal is to cook a healthy vegetarian meal for them. Photos will be posted of course. Menu not set yet. But I feel it will involve artichoke, mushrooms, asparagus... my usual suspects.
Exercise (7 a.m.): 45 minute boot camp.
9:30 a.m: "Bananas a Whey" from Booster juice. Bananas and vanilla frozen yogurt, blended with pineapple, skim milk and whey protein powder. 30g of protein! Good I guess considering I have a veggie lunch today.
12:15 p.m: Left over stir fry from last night. Made my stomach hurt though. Come to think of it, and this goes back to when I used to eat my mom's stir fry too, leftover stir fry always makes my stomach hurt. Interesting.
I'm already thinking of a desert. Gah! Must resist. Think we're playing squash tonight. Friends are coming over but something tells me no squash will happen and we'll go out to eat. We'll see. Wherever we go in my neighbourhood seems unhealthy sooo I'll have to resist temptation. OR! Kick ass in squash so I don't feel as guilty.
2:45 p.m: My stomach is growling. Wtf. I'm really hungry. I had some almonds. They're tiny and the pack they come in says it's 100 calories and 7 grams of fat. I'll take it. Photo just cause I'm bored.

6:30 p.m: I scrambled 2 eggs, butter, frozen veggies, arugula and goat cheese.
10 ish: A few friends came over to hang out. We ended up going to get ice cream and brought it back. Smarties flavour... mmmm. I said F it and had a bowl full, ok maybe two :( But how cute is my bowl?? :)

Wednesday.
Breakfast ( 9 a.m.): Plain oatmeal with banana and cinnamon. I've said it before and I'll say it again, the banana really saves this flavourless oatmeal.
Lunch (12 p.m.): See below. Tomato, onion, basil, bean sprouts, 4 crackers, goat cheese and balsamic vinaigrette dressing. Had like 6 sea salt chips too that were laying around. Pretty good for a randomly thrown together lunch!

3:45 p.m: Currently snacking on the below as my pre gym filler. Avocado with salt and few crackers.
Exercise (6:30 p.m.): 1 hour personal training
Way to go blogger but for some reason this night got totally erased. Weeeeeeird. So I found the pics of dinner in my trash and re-posting it. At some point I made stir fry and took before and after shots. Here they are.
Arugula, frozen veggies, potato, bean sprouts, mushrooms, onion and soy sauce.

Tuesday.
Today's goal! Drink a 1.5L bottle of water by 5 p.m. You might think "Easy!". No. I drink one small bottle usually so I need to step my game up. Gonna try to do this every day. Here is my challenge! You get to see some of my desk at work too! Not so exciting.
6 a.m: Banana
Exercise (7 a.m.): 45 minute boot camp.
8 a.m: I had a protein bar following my work out. It was Rocky Road and tasted like a real chocolate bar. I'm in love. This is not the flavour but nutritional info is the same it seems.
I have my first ever massage today through lunch. Will I die? My chiropractor suggested it after we realised that it was not helping that pain I have in my side. So we'll see how it goes. I may love it or I may be a stupid kid and get all self conscious.
10:30 a.m: Almonds
12 p.m: Back massage. Not bad. Felt good when I zoned out. Funny cause she said that because it was my first massage I should drink a lot of water today or I might get sick. Something about blood flowing and toxins moving around so I should flush it out. Good day to choose! It's water challenge day. Almost done the bottle from earlier. Now to do this everyday...
Lunch (1:30 p.m.): See below real crap photo I sneaked at the kitchen. Salad with arugula, tomato, potato, basil, goat cheese in balsamic vinaigrette dressing. I also bought some chicken salad. Too much food again?

Wise idea Narine. Watch video's on the PETA web-site. I'm grossed out by meat right now.
Dinner (6:15 p.m.): Photo below. Mushrooms, onion and bean sprouts fried in soy sauce. Baked asparagus with olive oil/salt. Boiled potatoes with greek yogurt. After I had a protein shake with strawberries, half a banana, ice, rice milk and protein powder. I think I have a portion control problem. I feel like this is a lot but at the same time, it's like 80% veggies.
10:45 p.m: Had a quarter of a tomato with a peice of bococinni in olive oil, salt and pepper.
Goodnight!

Monday.
Back to work. I cheated a lot this week-end with food so must get back to working out.
Breakfast (7:30 a.m.): Granola cereal with rice milk.
Snack (10 a..m): Almonds
Lunch (12:30p.m.): Greek chicken salad with roasted potatoe's. See previous posts. I think I had this like last Wednesday and posted a pic. Also had half a white chocolate macademia nut cookie. Yum.
Snack (4:14 p.m.): Brownie nutrigrain bar. Loooove it. I read the details on the web-site and these are supposed to be meal replacements. Hmm. I eat it as a snack. Anyways. Now I know. The good thing is, although it tastes like a brownie... apparently it has nutrients.
I have a gym training session today at 6. I bought these Protein Plus Bites just now. You eat it before or after to get your protein during a workout. I hope they taste good. Apparently these are brownie flavour as well. I find I don't get home in time to get my protein shake in after gym so this is a quick thing to have on the go. I'll tell you what it tastes like later.
Exercise (6 p.m.): 1 hour personal training. Trainer said I've improved a lot since day 1. Woohoo!
I ate the brownie protein bites. Pretty damn good!! Found out they are pretty high in sugar though soooo won't have it too often.
Dinner (8:30 p.m): See below. Salad with arugula, tomato, bococinni cheese, onion and chicken strips in balsamic vinaigrette dressing. I also had a plate of tomato, bococinni with olive oil and salt right after. Too much food... luckily most was veggie.
I went to an aquarium in Quebec and found myself really sad. So a friend (who's a vegetarian) recommended this documentary called The Cove. I just watched it. I am questioning every type of meat I eat. How do you know where it is coming from and if it is safe? Not to mention what the poor animals are feeling just so we are fed. I feel guilty already about eating the chicken above. Let's see how long this lasts. Watch the trailer.

Quite the week-end.
Ok so I went to Quebec city all week-end. This won't be a typical timed post cause well, I'm not that anal about this blog. It was fun. Looks a lot like Paris. Fun, unique stores too. I got me a robot :) You'll see. I'll take a picture sometime.
Let's see what I can remember. In as much order as I can, with photos when I could.
Friday the 6th
Hostel had breakfast. I took what I could that was somewhat "healthy".
Let me think. Oh yes. They had French macarons. Omg. I was excited. When I went to Paris, I was obsessed with them so was pleased to see them here. I bought one vanilla Friday.
Ok, back to thinking. Oh yes, we had lunch at a cute cafe thingie. All homemade tasting. I got a veggie sandwich with mushroom soup. It was tasty.
Alright... I'm sure in between from here to dinner I snacked on some chips we had laying around, almonds, and a nutrigrain bar.
Dinner was at a pub so I had a warm goat cheese salad (surprise surprise) and sweet potato fries dipped in whatever that sauce is they always give you with it.
Saturday May 7
Breakfast: Delish! Not going to Quebec and not getting a waffle. So it was a fresh waffle with ham, cheese, mushrooms and onions. Yum! I didn't end up having that dip.
Hmm.. lunch. I can't remember. I bet I snacked on chips, almonds and nutribar again. Oh wait!! I had an amazing chocolate almond croissant. Holy crap. I died a little.
Dinner: Ok. Huge recommend! If you go to Quebec city go to Casa Calzone for good Italian food. Amazing place. Very cozy, family run and amazingly friendly. Delicious food!! We randomly walked but then realised that it is the #1 recommended restaurant on Trip Advisor. I got a veggie calzone and bococinni and tomato to start. Worth every calorie. The red hue in the photo is cause the restaurant was all red cause of the lighting. Kinda cool.
Sunday May 8
Today!
Breakfast was a repeat of day 1. Hard boiled egg, bagel with cream cheese. No orange.
I had to go back and get a repeat of my fave deserts cause F it, I'll never have it again so screw the fat. I had 2 vanilla macarons and the croissant again.
We drove after that. In the car I snacked on almonds, a nutrigrain bar, chips, corn nuts.
Lunch: We stopped at Burger King. I knew it was coming. I honestly hadn't got fast food in like maybe close to a year. Really. So I got a crispy chicken burger and small fries. It was ok.
I'm home! :) I had a protein shake when I got in, and some almond butter with a spoon. That is all. I'm too lazy to type more cause I'm tired.
Oh! Exercise?? Sorta. Quebec is all hills and stairs. So the amount of hills I walked up counts to me. We walked all day non stop so ya, I got something out of it! At least my legs did!

After workout breakfast! (9:30 a..m): Avocado with sprinkle of salt.
Lunch (2 p.m.): Some boiled potatoes with Greek yogurt. A few spoonfulls of almond butter.
Editing after like 3 days. I went to my parent's and had the below... it's an Armenian meal. Green beans, tomato.. oil.. others... who knows. You eat it with pita bread.
